ObjectivePrimary dysmenorrhea refers to genital no organic disease of dysmenorrhea. It is mainly manifested in women before and after menstruation or lower abdominal pain, bulge, with backache or other discomfort, which can seriously affect the quality of life.In this study,In this study, acupuncture and moxibustion Guanyuan(CV6),Zhongji(CV3)and Guilai(ST29)was the basic treatment for primary dysmenorrhea of cold coagulation and blood stasis. The treatment group took Gongsun(SP4),Lieque(L7),Zulinqi(GB41),Neiguan(P6)in Eight Confluent acupoint as distribution points, while the control group used Sanyinjiao(SP6),Diji(SP6),Xuehai(SP10),Taichong(LR3)and Guilai(ST29)as the control points for comparison.By comparing the clinical efficacy of two groups,we can explore the clinical efficacy of the Eight Confluent acupoints for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, providing a more personalized treatment plan and expanding Clinical Application of he Eight Confluent acupoints.MethodsAccording to the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea and blood stasis type of dysmenorrhea were included in this study.WE used simple random distribution method to divide the paints into treatment group(the Eight Confluent acupoints group)and control group(conventional acupoints group),each group of 30 cases. Both groups began acupuncture 7 days before menstruation, continuous treatment for 7 days,7 days for a course of treatment, continuous treatment of 3 menstrual cycles. The VAS score and the COX dysmenorrhea symptom scale(CMSS)were used to evaluate the two groups before treatment and after 3 courses of treatment respectively.According to the curative effect evaluation standard,we use SPSS20.0 software to make statistical analysis on the data and draw the conclusion.ResultsAfter three courses of treatment, the VAS scores of the treatment group and the control group decreased, and the difference was statistically significant before and after treatment(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in VAS scores between the two groups before and after treatment(P> 0.05).This indicated that acupuncture eight pulse intersection points and conventional acupoints in alleviating the pain of dysmenorrhea effected no significant difference. After treatment, the symptom score and total score of COX dysmenorrhea symptom scale decreased in both groups, with statistical significance(P<0.05).Between groups, nausea and vomiting, stomach pain two symptoms, the treatment group decreased more significantly,P <0.05,the differences were statistically significant. There was no significant difference between the two groups in the total score of CMSS(P> 0.05).The two groups of treatment programs can improve the symptoms associated with dysmenorrhea, but in the two symptoms of nausea and vomiting, stomach pain, acupuncture at the Eight Confluent points better than the conventional acupoints. In the treatment group,4 cases were cured,12 cases were markedly effective,11 cases were effective,3 cases were ineffective, and the total effective rate was 90%.In the control group,3 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,12 cases were effective,2 cases were ineffective and the total effective rate was 93.3%.By rank sum test,P> 0.05,the difference was not statistically significant. The two groups showed no significant difference in overall curative effect.ConclusionThe Eight Confluent points and conventional acupoints are effective in treating primary dysmenorrhea with cold coagulation and blood stasis type. There is no significant difference between the two acupoints methods in alleviating the pain degree of dysmenorrhea and improving the overall efficacy of the symptoms associated with dysmenorrhea. However,Ease stomach pain, nausea and vomiting symptoms, eight pulse intersection points better thanconventional acupoints. Therefore, accompanied by nausea and vomiting or stomach pain in dysmenorrhea patients,we can give priority to acupuncture at eight crossing points for the treatment of dysmenorrhea. |
