ObjectiveHypertension in the elderly is a hot research topic in recent years. It has the characteristics of high morbidity and high lethality in our country. This topic uses noninvasive hemodynamics and echocardiography to investigate the relationship between plasma homocysteine Effect of Acid Level on Heart Structure and Function in Elderly Hypertensive Patients.MethodsFrom February 2016 to December 2017,83 Chinese patients admitted to the cadres' ward and cardiology department of Guangzhou General Hospital of PLA were enrolled and 83 patients were diagnosed as essential hypertension. The plasma homocysteine level was increased in 54 patients without plasma Hcy 29 cases were included in the standard plasma Hcy?10?mol/L,systolic blood pressure?140 mm Hg(1mm Hg=0.133 kPa)and/or diastolic blood pressure?90 mm Hg,and another 24 healthy control subjects were enrolled Three groups of clinical general information, plasma homocysteine levels were measured, and their echocardiography and noninvasive hemodynamic tests, measuring left ventricular end-diastolic diameter(LVDd),left ventricular end-systolic diameter(LVDs),Thickness of interventricular septum(IVSd)and left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT).The hemodynamic indexes of noninvasive hemodynamic tests were recorded and statistically analyzed.Results1.There was significant difference between Hypertension group and non-Hypertension group and healthy control group at plasma homocysteine level(P<0.05).2.Hypertension group and non-Hypertension group in the application of various antihypertensive drugs no significant difference(P>0.05).3.In the Doppler echocardiographic indicators IVSD,LVPW,LVDd,Emv/Amv,LVM,LVMI,the H-type hypertension group(A group),non-H-type hypertension group(B group)values are higher than the control Group(N group),P <0.05,there was a significant difference, statistically significant.Which H-type hypertension is more obvious. There was a significant difference in IVSD,LVPW,LVM,LVMI,and Vp between the H-type hypertension group and the non-H-type hypertension group(P<0.05).4.In the comparison of non-invasive hemodynamic parameters, the values of CO,SV,ISI,H-type hypertension group(A group),and non-H hypertension group(B group)were higher than those of the control group(N group),P<0.05.statistically significant.Which H-type hypertension is more obvious. There was a significant difference in CO,SV between the H-type hypertension group and the non-H-type hypertension group(P<0.05).5.The HCY levels in H-type hypertensive patients were correlated with cardiac structural changes and non-invasive hemodynamic cardiac function. From Table 9,serum HCY levels were positively correlated with IVSd,LVPW,LVDd,LVM,and LVMI(r=0.225,0.291,0.270,0.248,0.259,P<0.05),and negatively correlated with CO,SV,ISI,and Vp(rwas-0.093,-0.120,-0.048,-0.539,P<0.05).Conclusion1.Hyperhomocysteinemia and left ventricular structure and function of the change there is a certain relationship.2.Patients with Hypertension are more likely to develop cardiac hypertrophy and diastolic dysfunction than non-Hypertensive patients and may be associated with synergistic effects of hyperhomocysteinemia and hypertension.3.H-type hypertension to take active treatment, taking antihypertensive drugs while taking folic acid tablets and other drugs to reduce hyperhomocysteinemia, can achieve improved myocardial remodeling, delayed cardiac dysfunction need to patients Long-term follow-up.
