A Clinicalresearch Of The Curative Effect On Acupotomy And Quadriceps Training In The Treatment Of Knee Osteoarthritis

ObjectiveTo observe the clinical curative effect of theacupotomy and quadriceps training in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis.MethodsAccordingto the inclusion and exclusion criteria,60 qualifiedpatients were selected from orthopedic clinics of the Second Hospital of Guangdong Provincefrom January 2017 to December 2017.patients were randomized into two groups,each group 30 cases.Treatment group were treated with acupotomy and quadriceps training,while thecontrol group treated with small needle knife.The therapeutic effect were evaluated and compared to each other after receiving 4-week treatment,from VAS?WOMAC?strength of quadriceps.ResultsClinical efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine: the total effective rate was 93.10% in the treatment group,68.97% in the control group.TCM clinical effect evaluation oftheexperimentalgroup was significantly better than the control group.VAS score:There were significant difference between before and after the treatment in both groups(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in VAS score between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between both groups aftertreatment(P<0.01),which suggests that the treatment group was better than the control group.WOMAC score:There were significant difference between before and after the treatment in both groups(P<0.01).There was no significant difference in WOMAC score between the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between both groups after the treatment(P<0.01),which suggests that the treatment group was better than the control group.Strength of quadriceps:There was significant difference instrength of quadriceps between before and after the therapy in treatment groups(P<0.01).Therewas no significant difference between before and after the treatment in control groups(P>0.05).There was no significant differencebetween the two groups before the treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between both groups aftertreatment(P<0.05).Conclusionacupotomy and quadriceps trainingcan obviously relieve pain and improve the function of knee joint in patients with knee osteoarthritis,and these two methods have a synergistic therapeutic effect.
