| Objective:To observe the efficacy and safety of Lishui Qiangxin prescription on patients with chronic heart failure.Methods:Patients with chronic heart failure in the cardiovascular department of Guanganmen Hospital of Chinese Academy of Sciences China wards and outpatient visits during long term from September 2015 to January 2018,and randomly divided the 60 cases of heart failure patients to control group and treatment group,30 cases in the control group,30 cases in the treatment group.The control group was given western medicine basic treatment(diuretics,ACEI,ARB,beta blockers,cardiac glycosides)for 8 weeks.The treatment group was given western medicine basic treatment with Lishui Qiangxin prescription for 8 weeks.To evaluate the safety and efficacy of two groups before and after treatment,the efficacy index including symptom scores,heart function classification(NYHA),cardiac index(LVEF,FS,ultrasound,LVDd,E and A peak,E/A),6 minutes walk test,plasma NT-proBNP level,Minnesota life quality scale and western medicine withdrawal rate;the safety indicators including blood routine,urine routine,liver function(ALT,AST),renal function(Cr,BUN),blood pressure and heart rate.The data results are analyzed using SPSS23.0 software.Results:1.The comparion of the effective rate of TCM symptom score:the treatment group was 93.33%,and the control group was 76.67%.The treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).2.The comparion of TCM symptom score:after treatment both the two groups has decreased,the treatment group was better than the control group,the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).3.The comparion of single TCM syndrome score:after treatment both the two groups has decreased,syndrome about the palpitation,chest tightness,shortness of breath,dry mouth,fatigue,edema,and oliguria,the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05);sweating and cyanosis in two groups had no significant difference(p>0.05).4.The comparion of Minnesota quality of life scale score:after treatment both the two groups has decreased,and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05).5.The comparion of the Heart function classification(NYHA):the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 76.67%.The two groups had improved the cardiac function classification,but the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05).6.The comparion of the cardiac ultrasound indexes:after treatment both the two groups has improved,especially the three indexes of the myocardial systolic(LVEF,FS and LVDd),and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05);the three indexes of the myocardial diastolic(E peak,A peak and E/A ratio)had no significant difference between the two groups(p>0.05).7.The comparion of the efficiency of the 6 minute walk test:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,the total effective rate of the control group was 80%,the treatment group was superior to the control group(p<0.05).8.The comparion of The 6 minutes test distance:after treatment both the two groups has improved the walking distance,and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05).9.The comparion of plasma NT-proBNP levels:after treatment both the two groups has decreased,,and the treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.01).10.The comparion of western medicine withdrawal rate:the total effective rate of the treatment group was 70%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 43.33%.The treatment group was better than the control group(p<0.05),especially about the medicine of diuretics and cardiac glycosides.11.The comparion of Safety:there was no significant difference in heart rate,blood pressure,blood routine,urine routine and liver and kidney function between the two groups(p>0.05),and no adverse reactions occurred during the treatment.Conclusions:Lishui Qiangxin prescription can significantly improve the patients with heart failure's clinical symptoms,heart function classification(NYHA),cardiac systolic function index,plasma NT-proBNP level,life quality,exercise tolerance,the side effects of western medicine,and no effect on the urine and kidney function.Therefor,Lishui Qiangxin prescription has good effectiveness and safety. |
