A Study About The Laws Of Syndrome Differentiation And Medication Of Jaundice Based On The Data Analysis Of Contemporary Famous Veteran Doctors Of TCM

BackgroundJaundice is a common disease of the hepatobiliary system.It is an independent syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine.According to elaboration of TCM,most of the jaundice caused by internal or external pathogenic factors,clinical manifestations concluded yellow skin,yellow eyes and dark urine were main symptoms,especially with the highest frequency in yellow eyes.Through the perspective of modern Western Medicine,there are many causes of jaundice,the pathological mechanism is also complicated.Various causes cause jaundice,such as hepatocyte jaundice,obstructive jaundice,and haemolytic jaundice.Common acute hepatitis,chronic hepatitis,viral hepatitis,alcoholic hepatitis,cirrhosis,cholecystitis,cholelithiasis,leptospirosis and some digestive system tumours all cause jaundice.In particular,the incidence of viral hepatitis is high.Famous Veteran Doctors of TCM are famous physician in our country with high prestige and excellent medical skill.The experience of clinical treatment and the characteristics of drug use are the great treasure in our country.The famous doctors have made a rich discussion on the syndrome differentiation and treatment of the disease and put forward their respective views.Therefore,they accumulated a lot of valuable medical records that worth studying for reference.ObjectiveThis topic research through the combination of literature research and analysis of modern statistics,via the collection of medical records and medical literatures,and finally establish a database for further exploration law of syndrome differentiation and medication of Jaundice.It is certain positive significance to promote the treatment of jaundice.Through the data analysis,we can summarize the rules of clinical syndrome differentiation and the characteristics of drug use to provide more clinical reference and new ideas for future.MethodsThe literature sources of this study comes from medical journal database and medical masterpiece resources as a basis for selection,and finally choose the medical records that conforming standards.Finally,the database was built.By means of modern statistical analysis,frequency analysis and cluster analysis were made for age,gender,etiological diagnosis,symptoms,syndromes,drug efficacy classification,drug taste and meridian tropism.Finally,the statistical results are combined with the theoretical analysis of traditional Chinese medicine to summarize the rule of the treatment of jaundice and the characteristics of the medicine.Results153 cases were collected in this study.Yellow eyes,dark urine and yellow skin were main symptoms.In associated symptoms,common symptoms are anorexia,fatigue,abdominal distension,dry mouth,nausea,fever,skin itching,bitter mouth,abdominal pain,vomiting,chest pain,ascites,hot,hated greasy and chilling.The main type of syndrome differentiation is the heat is heavier than the dampness.Viral hepatitis is the most common cause of jaundice.207 kinds of Chinese medicine are involved in this study.The total frequency of the occurrence is 1913 times.Most of the classification of drug efficacy mainly include heat-clearing medicinals,dampness-draining medicinals and tonifying medicinals,total cumulative frequency reached 50.8%.Furthermore,subordinated by activating blood medicinals,exterior releasing medicinals,qi-regulating medicinals and dampness-dispelling medicinals.The nature of drug that common use in treatment of jaundice is cold drug.The most common taste of high frequency medicinals were bitter,sweet and pungent.Among of them,41.3% of the bitter taste,25.3% of sweet taste and 23.1% of pungent taste.Affected meridians mainly liver meridian,stomach meridian,spleen meridian,lung meridian and heart meridian.The cumulative frequency is up to 75%.It is proved that liver meridian is the main meridian,which is related to the spleen,stomach,heart and lung.By the result of cluster analysis,medicinals in the core group were shown in the following: Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Poria,Herba Artemisiae Scopariae,Radix Etrhizoma Rhei,Fructus Gardeniae,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Cortex Moutan,Radix Curcumae,Radix Bupleuri,Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Radix Puerariae.It based on Yinchenhao decotion,combine with heatclearing medicinals,dampness-draining medicinals,tonifying medicinals and activating blood medicinals.ConclusionThe famous veteran doctors of TCM has accumulated rich clinical experience in the treatment of jaundice through theoretical application and clinical practice,and has certain advantages and characteristics in the aspect of medication.Jaundice is mainly in the liver and gallbladder,which is related to the spleen and stomach.The classification of drug efficacy mainly included heat-clearing medicinals,dampness-draining medicinals and tonifying medicinals.Drugs which is commonly used are Radix Paeoniae Rubra,Poria,Herba Artemisiae Scopariae,Radix Etrhizoma Rhei,Fructus Gardeniae,Radix Glycyrrhizae,Cortex Moutan,Radix Curcumae,Radix Bupleuri,Scutellaria Baicalensis Georgi,Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae,Radix Puerariae.
