ObjectiveTo explore the distribution characteristics and medication patterns of chronic hepatitis B syndromes in some hospitals in Guangzhou and Taiwan, and to discuss the gender, age, educational level and prognosis of viral hepatitis B patients. It is hoped that this study can increase some basic resources for the collection of this disease, and provide clinicians in the two regions with more data on the treatment of chronic hepatitis B and have more control over the treatment of this disease.MethodsStep 1: Search for documents in various medical databases such as PubMed,Huayi Chinese Database,National Masters Thesis Information Network,China Knowledge Network, and Chinese Science and Technology Journal;enter keywords and use PICO(patient, intervention, comparison, and outcome). For guidelines, set the following keywords: Chronic hepatitis B;Traditional Chinese medicine;Treatment;ALT(aspanine aminotransferase)and AST(asparate aminotransaferase);Identification);Chinese herbal medicine is a key word for the collection of literature related to chronic hepatitis B.Step 2: After having read the title and the abstract by naked eye, according to the conditions of "incorporation of documents" and "exclusion of documents",the documents to be evaluated will be selected.Literature inclusion conditions:(a)Randomized controlled trial(RCT);(b)Main results include experimental indicators: ALT(aspanine aminotransferase)and AST(asparate aminotransferonase)or antigen antibody(Ag and Ab)or liver Hepatocyte activity or HBV-DNA.(c)The content of the article is consistent with the PICO(patient, intervention, comparison, outcome)set when searching.Literature exclusion conditions are:(a)No full-text database;(b)Non-Chinese and English.(c)Earlier than 1995.Step 3: According to the inclusion and exclusion criteria and the deletion of repetitive literature, the researcher cooperates with the “reading list”(Table 1)to personally review, screen, and analyze the collected literature(evidence)and read it carefully. The extracted research results are discussed.Step 4: Based on the documents that have been strictly reviewed in Step 3,discuss and summarize the papers.Characteristics of syndrome distribution: In some hospitals in Guangzhou, most of them were hepatobiliary damp heat(31.1%),followed by liver depression and spleen deficiency(21.9%),damp heat resistance(15.7%),liver-kidney yin deficiency(12.3%),and dampness.(10.2%),blood stasis(6.0%),and finally hepatic blood stasis(1.4%)and spleen-kidney yang(1.4%)were the least;some hospitals in Taiwan had liver and kidney yin deficiency(46.5%).At most, the order was liver depression and spleen deficiency(22.7%),spleen deficiency resistance(7.2%),liver qi stagnation(6.8%),spleen and kidney yang(5.6%),blood stasis(4%),and damp heat accumulation(3.6%),with damp heat resistance(2.8%)as the least;while the drug law,the most frequently used compound in Guangzhou hospital for Yinchenhao decoction(52.3%),the most commonly used single-agent medicine(41%).The top three most frequently used compound drugs in some hospitals in Taiwan were: Modified Xiaoyao Powder(9.2%),Xiaochaihu Decoction(6.9%),and Longdan Xiegang Decoction(6.7%);among the single-use drugs, the top three used the compound. The highest frequency was as follows: Salvia miltiorrhiza(5.8%),Artemisia capillaris(4.3%),Polygonum cuspidatum(2.2%).Men are more likely to get chronic hepatitis B than women;the age of onset is a minimum of 10 years and a maximum of 79 years, but the average age is mostly concentrated in young adults;education level, the lowest level of education among men and women have the lowest The prevalence and higher education populations have more patients with chronic hepatitis B.The genotypes of chronic hepatitis B virus in Guangzhou and Taiwan are B and C types, with B type being the most common in both regions;C genotypes are prone to drug resistance, and are associated with more severe liver damage and have the worst prognosis.ResultsReferences met the screening criteria, from 1995 to 2014 in the literature years,4 articles on chronic hepatitis B TCM syndromes in some hospitals in Guangzhou,3 articles in some hospitals in Taiwan, and citations according to screening conditions.Between 2014 and 2014,there were 3 related articles on treatment of chronic hepatitis B in some hospitals in Guangzhou and 3 in some hospitals in Taiwan for comparative analysis and discussion. The citation and management of gender, age, education level, and prognosis of hepatitis B virus genotypes were related to chronic hepatitis B.The years were from 1995 to 2016,8 from Guangzhou, and 7 from Taiwan. Finally, the distribution characteristics and drug use patterns of TCM syndromes in patients with chronic hepatitis B in some hospitals in Guangzhou and Taiwan were compared and discussed. The analysis was also conducted on the effects of hepatitis B on gender, age, education level, and prognosis of hepatitis B virus genotypes.discuss.ConclusionThe initial etiology and pathogenesis of hepatitis B in some hospitals in both regions are related to “wetness” and “heat”.The organs related to the disease course are liver, spleen, and kidney.Among the treatment drugs, the most frequently used compound drugs in some hospitals in Guangzhou are Yinchenhao decoction plus side-by-side herbs is Artemisia capillaris;the most frequently used compound in some hospitals in Taiwan is Modified Xiaoyao San,and the single prescription is Salvia miltiorrhiza.Men are more likely to get hepatitis B than women. The average age of onset is mostly concentrated in young adults. In some hospitals in both regions, there are people with higher education levels who have chronic hepatitis B,regardless of gender. The hepatitis B virus genotypes in both regions were B-type and C-type,and B-type was the most.C-type genotypes were susceptible to drug resistance and were associated with more severe liver damage and had the worst prognosis.
