Analysis Of Contemporary Documents On The Medication Rule Of Traditional Chinese Medicine In Treating Aging Skin

ObjectiveThe study is to explore the rules of the use of traditional Chinese medicine of anti-skin aging of contemporary TCM in clinical and provide reference for further research in the future.MethodsTo collect the literatures that meet the inclusion criteria and extract and organize the data,this research used “skin aging” or “aging skin”or “skin photoaging” or “hair loss” or “alopecia areata” or “seborrheic alopecia” or “androgenetic alopecia” or “diffuse alopecia” or “white hair” or “ hair follicle atrophy ” or “ chloasma ” or “ peripheral hyperpigmentation” or “chronic actinic dermatitis” or “sunburn” or“solar-induced elastic fiber disease” or “solar keratosis” or “leather corner” or “seborrheic keratosis”,and “traditional Chinese medicine”or “Chinese and western medicine” or “mechanism” or “etiology” or“ pathogenesis ” or “ traditional Chinese medicine ” or “ property of traditional Chinese medicine” or “channel tropism” or “meridian” as search terms to retrieve literature based on China Biomedical Literature Database,Chinese Science and Technology Periodical Database and Chinese Journal Full-text Database.Then this study established a database with the collected data in Microsoft Office Excel and combined with the SPSS Modoler software to analyze the frequency of syndromes,traditional Chinese medicine including their types,efficacy,four characters,five tastes and channel distributions,and to analyze the correlation between traditional Chinese medicine and between the traditional Chinese medicine and syndromes,in order to explore the clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine in delaying the aging of the skin.Results1.A total of 544 articles were included in this study.The documents included mainly focuse on clinical experience,observation,and experience,including 294 alopecia literatures,241 chloasma literatures,5 literatures on chronic actinic dermatitis and 4 sunburn papers.2.The literature involved 82 types of syndromes.Insufficiency of liver and kidney is the main syndrome that causes the skin aging in clinical practice in the opinion of contemporary traditional Chinese medicine.Secondly,there are liver qi stagnation,blood stasis,stagnation of liver qi and stagnation of blood,qi-stagnation and blood stasis,deficiency of qi and blood,insufficiency of the spleen with overabundance of dampness,spleen and kidney deficiency,and these aspects are involved five zang-organs and six fu-organs,qi-blood-fluid and essence,yin and yang,Ying Wei and wind-evil.3.The literature involved 341 kinds of Chinese medicines.The main herbs that anti-aging skin in clinical of contemporary Chinese medicine are angelica,chuanxiong,poria cocos,white pelican,radix rehmanniae praeparata,bupleurum,flowers carthami,salvia,radix rehmanniae,licorice,white magic,glossy privet,wolfberry,semen cuscutae,akasaka,astragalus,moutan bark,peach kernel,eclipta,polygonum multiflorum,hawthorn,white pelican,radix polygoni multiflori preparata,yam,rhizoma cyperi,motherwort,alisma,and take the traditonal Chinese medicine that are tonic in efficacy,warm in property,sweet in taste,and distributions to liver as the main.4.Analysis of traditional Chinese medicine and traditional Chinese medicine,traditional Chinese medicine and syndrome:Through the correlation analysis between Chinese medicine and between the Chinese medicine and syndromes,we get the preferred set,and to speculate on the compatibility between Chinese medicine and the effectiveness of Chinese medicine which are choiced on the syndromes.The relationship between the types of syndromes,the types,the four characters,the five tastes and the channel distributions of traditional Chinese medicine basically fits the clinical theory of TCM.The relationship between Chinese medicine and syndromes is also in line with the efficacy,the property,the taste and the distributions of traditional Chinese medicine.ConclusionThis study directly reflects the treatment methods of traditional Chinesemedicine for skin aging caused by excess syndromes such as liver and kidney deficiency,deficiency of qi and blood,and deficiency syndrome such as liver qi stagnation,blood stasis.The results suggest that the main treatment direction for the delay of skin aging in modern Chinese medicine is to make up for its deficiency,especially to benefit the liver and kidney,and secondly to diarrhea,especially for qi and blood circulation.The types of syndromes and Chinese medicines initially extracted in this study include types,efficacy,property,taste and distributions,and compatibility between Chinese medicine,which may provide reference for traditional Chinese medicine on anti-aging skin in clinical and provide basis for the continued development of traditional Chinese medicine in the field of skin care and beauty.
