Objectives:The purpose of this study is to describe the incidence of disease,To investigate the correlation between recent functional recovery, readmission and recent mortality after surgery for hip patients with comorbiditise,to assess the safety of perioperative period for elderly hip fractures in order to improve the perioperative safety of patients with hip fractures.Patients and methods:To collect the basic data of patients admitted to Guangdong Province Traditional Chinese Medical Hospital in January 2017 1-2017 in December for diagnosis of hip fracture(The ICD codes for femoral neck and intertrochanteric fractures are S72.002 and S72.101).These include: name, age, sex, type of fracture, complication, preoperative state of function, admission and admission time, total hospitalization expenses, operation mode and so on.According to comorbidity, the patients were divided into the combined disease group and the normal group(without comorbidity). The natural rehabilitation of patients with different groups after operation was compared, and the relationship between the number of common diseases and the rehabilitation of natural function after operation was analyzed, including the Zuckman, the independent function score, and the VAS score before and after the 3 months of discharge. The rehospitalization rate and mortality 3months after operation were analyzed, and the relationship between disease incidence and the recent readmission rate and mortality rate in elderly patients with hip fracture was analyzed.SPSS23.0 software was used for statistical analysis. Results:The average age of the normal group was 81.66 ± 4.06 and the mean ageof the combined disease group was 85.88±4.74 y the study common comorbidities were Hypertension,114(61.29%),Malnutrition 66(35.48%),2 Diabetes54(29.43%).The average cost of hospitalization for elderly patients is36477.71±14509.90 yuan. The average cost of hospitalization for old-old patients is 39634.35 ± 12177.52 yuan.P>0.05,there is no significant difference between the combined disease group and the normal group. The average length of stay was 9.10±4.55 days in elderly patients. The average hospitalization time inthe combined disease group was 12.14±6.45 days. There was a significant difference(P<0.05).The length of stay of the combined disease group was significantly less than the the normal group. There were 65 case readmission On 3-month hospital after hip fracture surgery, accounting for 34.95%.A total of 102 hospitalized cases were hospitalized. An average of 1.57 times per patient was hospitalized again. The most common reason for 3-month-rehospitalization included pain 23(35.38%),fall 22(33.85%),lung disease 11(16.92%),and heart disease 6(9.28%).There were7 patients death within 3 month after hip surgery, accounting for 3.76%?The VAS score of the the normal group was 0.95 ±1.06 after the operation, and the VAS score of the combined disease group was 1.96 ± 1.27.There was a significant difference between the two groups, with a statistically significant difference(P<0.05)Thethe normal group and combined disease group with postoperative independent function measurement was 95.11 ±25.32,82.07±19.58,There was a significant difference between the two groups, with statistical significance(P<0.0500).In the normal group, the score of Zuckerman in March was 80.37 ±21.02,while that in the combined disease group was 65.12±19.80 three month after surgery. There was a significant difference between the two groups(P<0.05)Conclusions:1.Hypertension,malnutrition and type II diabetes are three common diseases in elderly hip fracture patients.2.Elderly patients with multiple comorbidities had significantly higher readmission and mortality in the short term than those in other patients. The length of stay was significantly longer.;3.The comorbidities affects elderly patients with hip fracture and the natural recovery of function in the short term.
