Objective:To explore the clinicopathological features,the incidence of EGFR mutation and prognostic influencing molecular factors on lung cancer in young patients,which is to provide the theoretical basis for diagnosis and treatment on lung cance in young patients.Methods:Retrospectively collected lung cancer patients aged40 years or less diagnosed by pathology and cytology between January 2012 and December 2015 in Xinjiang Cancer Hospital,and analyzed their gender,age,clinical symptoms,smoking history,pathological types,and clinical stages,misdiagnosis,EGFR mutation rate,treatment and survival.Result:A total of 109 young people wit h lung cancer were included.The ratio of male to female was 1:1.2;The pathological type was adenocarcinoma(83%);The average diagnosis time is 63 days.There ar e 60 misdiagnosis cases.The misdiagnosis rate is as high as 55%;The rate of EGF R gene mutation in young people with lung cancer is high(63.8%);COX multivariate analysis showed that clinical stage and EGFR mutation status were independent prognostic factors affecting young patients with lung cancer.There were 66 cases of 69 receive EGFR detected Non-small Cell Lung Cancer in Stage IIIB-IV.A further subgroup analysis of 66 cases showed that the median survival time was significantly longe(P<0.05).Conclusions:The proportion of young lung cancer women is hi gh;The proportion of adenocarcinoma is high;Misdiagnosis rate is high and Poor prognosis;So early screening is probably the most main prevention and control measures,based on the characteristics of molecular targeted therapy will improve the curative effect of lung cancer in young patients and survival time.
