The unique natural environment of the ocean,so that marine life has been living in large water pressure, smaller temperature difference, higher salinity, limited dissolved oxygen, limited sunshine seawater chemical buffer system.Because of the uniqueness of living environment, marine life has obvious characteristics in terms of survival and reproduction, metabolism and adaptation mechanism. They are concentrated in,containing a lot of special metabolites and life-activity factors. The secondary metabolites produced by these organisms are closely related to the chemical defense system of the organism. In natural resources, species rich and preserved relatively good benthic organisms such as corals and sponges have become an important target for the discovery of drug lead compounds in the world.By studying the chemical composition of marine biology, revealing the chemical defense mechanism of these organisms, thus discovering functional active molecules,to clarify the important role of human disease treatment.Anthogorgia sp.belong to the genus Acanthogorgiidae in Gorgonacea. To date,Few reports about it,the authors of the first reported, isolated six sterols and one ceramide from them, and have not yet studied their biological activity. The secondary metabolites of the flower gorgonian are rich in guaiacontine, and they often exhibit bright colors such as brownish green, orange, purple, blue, and yellow. To some extent prompted the coral and some creatures with bright colors.Gorgonian coral bright body color is likely to be associated with its own defense system, but reflect the surface of different colors of metabolites to be further explored. In the chemical screening of Anthogorgia sp.The main components of the method were determined by chromatographic preparation and spectroscopic analysis. It is a blue oil, suggesting a color composition for the body surface of the anthurium. In the meantime,DAD-HPLC and 1H-NMR methods were used to track the specificity of coral samples by using the chemical methods of marine natural products and modern spectroscopic techniques.Orthogonal silica gel column chromatography, reverse phase ODS column chromatography and two-dimensional nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy(HSQC,HMBC,COZY),mass spectrometry(MS),ultraviolet(UV)infrared(IR)to separation analysis.Combined with specific methods such as polarimetry and spectroscopy,we comprehensively analyzed the three-dimensional configuration of the designed compound to provide a basis for the development of new drugs. In this study,95%ethanol extracts from Anthogorgia sp.were studied by chemical constituents.Seven compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate fraction of the extract.Four of them were guaiacane sesquiterpenoids, one sesquiterpene monomer, two carbonated sesquiterpenes. The reduced carbon sesquiterpene compounds were isolated from the genus for the first time,in which compounds 3 and 5 were new compounds and are present in the form of corresponding isomers, compound 6 was a new natural product, and compound 4 was a pair of corresponding isomers,4-2 was a new compound.Compound 1,compound 2,and compound 7 are known materials and identified as 2,2'-biguaiazlenyl,linderazulene,and ketolactone, respectively. The chemical constituents of the ethyl acetate fraction are mainly sesquiterpenoids.
