Objective:To explore the relationship between the absolute lymphocyte count(ALC)and the prognosis in newly diagnosed patients with diffuse large B-cell lymphoma(DLBCL).Methods:The clinical data of 55 patients newly diagnosed with DLBCL from January 2013 to January 2017 in our hospital were analyzed, including sex, age,IPI score,ECOG performance status, absolute lymphocyte count,B symptoms,Ann Arbor stage, number of extranodal involvement, lactate dehydrogenase, albumin, globulin. The ALC critical value determined to 1.0×10~9/L by foreign papers, which is the classified standard to analyze the relationship between ALC and clinical features,short-term therapeutic effect and relationship of survival. The statistical analysis was performed by applying SPSS,chi-square test,Kaplan-Meier method,Log-rank test data,Cox regression model for data.Results:1.Patients with ALC<1.0×10~9/L had a high incidence of advanced Ann Arbor stage(P=0.025)and B symptoms(P=0.004).2.Single factor analysis showed that lower ALC associated with shorter overall survival(OS)(P=0.001),and multiple factor analysis showed that lower ALC were an independent prognostic risk factor for patients.3.There is no significant correlation between the level of ALC and the short-term efficacy patients with DLBCL(P>0.05).Conclusion:ALC can be used as a prognostic indicator in patients newly diagnosed with diffuse large B cell lymphoma.Patients with low ALC often indicate poor prognoses.
