ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of fixed-foot stance Tai Chi Yunshou in hemiplegic stroke patients,by observing upper limb motor function, coordination function, proprioception, self care ability. To provide a simple, economic and effective traditional exercises and enrich the rehabilitation training projects in upper extremity of stroke patients with hemiplegiaMethodsAccording to the diagnosis and reception criterion,60 cases of stroke patients with hemiplegia were randomly divided into experimental group(n=30cases)and control group(n=30cases).All the patients in Both groups were received routine therapy and nursing, besides the patients in experiental group were treated with fixed-foot stance Yunshou. The intervention were once a day, five days a week, lasting eight weeks.the FMA-UE,STEF,and the error of elbow joint position sense evaluated by upper limb rehabilitation training robot as well as MBI were used to assess the patients'condition before,4weeks after treatment,8weeks after treatment respectively.ResultAfter the intervention, one case dropped out from experimental group, two cases dropped out from control group. The final number in this trial was 57,with 29 in experimental group and 28 in control group.Statistical analysis results were as follows:1.Baseline ComparisonThere were no significant difference in age, gender, education level, duration, type of stroke, hemiplegic side, handedness and Brunnstrom stage between the two groups(P>0.05).And there were no significant difference in FMA-UE,STEF,the proprioception of elbow joint position as well as MBI(P>0.05)between two groups. It showed that the two groups were comparable.2.Changes in motor functions(1)Within group comparison:After 4 weeks intervention, the motor functions of two groups in both groups were improved, with significant difference in the comparison of before intervention(P<0.01),After 8 weeks intervention compared with after 4weeks intervention, motor functions of two groups were significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)comparison between groups:The three times' data(before intervention, after 4 weeks intervention and after 8 weeks intervention)about motor function of the two groups were analyzed by repeated measures analysis of variance(ANOVA).It showed that the main effects of time were statistically different(P<0.01),the main effect of intervention were statistically differernt(P<0.05);the interaction effect of groups and time were statistically significant(P<0.01).3.Changes in coordination function(1)Within group comparison:After 4 weeks intervention, the coordination function in the two groups between before and after 4weeks intervention were statistically significant(P<0.01).After 8 weeks intervention, the coordination function improved significantly in the experimental group comparing with after 4 weeks intervention, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01),while after 8 weeks intervention the control group showed no statistical difference comparing with after 4 weeks intervention(P>0.05).(2)comparison between groups:The repeated measures analysis of variance(ANOVA).showed that the main effects of time were statistically different(P<0.01),the main effect of intervention were statistically differernt(P<0.05);the interaction effect of groups and time were statistically significant(P<0.01).4.Changes in proprioception(1)Within group comparison:After 4 weeks intervention, the proprioception of two groups in both groups were improved, with significant difference in the comparison of before intervention.(P<0.01),After 8 weeks intervention compared with after 4 weeks intervention, proprioception of two groups were significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)comparison bet, ween groups:The repeated measures analysis of variance(ANOVA).showed that the main effects of time were statistically different(P<0.01),the main effect of intervention were no statistically differernt(P>0.05);the interaction effect of groups and time were statistically significant(P<0.01).5.Changes in activities of daily living(1)Within group comparison:after 4weeks of intervention compared with that before Intervention, two groups of patients improved significantly in activities of daily living, and there was statistically significant difference(P<0.01)After 8 weeks intervention compared with After 4 weeks intervention, activities of daily living of two groups were significantly improved, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).(2)comparison between groups:The repeated measures analysis of variance(ANOVA).showed that the main effects of time were statistically different(P<0.01),the main effect of intervention were no statistically differernt(P>0.05);the interaction effect of groups and time were statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion(1)Fixed-foot stance Yunshou can improve stroke patients with hemiplegia the motor function and coordination of upper extremity.(2)Fixed-foot stance Yunshou is beneficial for the recovery of propriocetption of upper limb in stroke patients with hemiplegia,In improving the activities of daily living, which have certain curative effect,(3)The Fixed-foot stance Yunshou as a traditional exercises is effective, with the time extent,it is more helpful to the recovery of upper extremity function in stroke patients with hemiplegia...
