Aims: As the application of quantitative measurements of HBsAg develops increasingly, clinical research has found that the quantitative level of HBsAg has great significance in antiviral therapy. However,HBsAg not only come from Dane,a kind of virus particles which contains viral nucleic acid, but more of them evolve from tubular or spherical virus shells which are noninfectious. Thus, the level of serum HBsAg cannot go together with the antiviral treatment. Moreover, there is still a lack of sufficient samples for clinical research.Obviously,it is a long way to set up a standardized evaluation system.Through a retrospective study, the purpose of this paper is to investigate the base line of HBsAg and HBeAg,as well as the quantitative level of HBVDNA and its dynamic changes during the treatment of CHB patients.Meanwhile,it also analyzes the clinical significance of these indicators. Methods: A retrospective clinical analysis has been conducted among 4000 cases of CHB patients who were treated in ShangHai ChangHai Hospital from January 2012 to December 2016.The parameters include HBsAg,HBeAg,HBVDNA,age and gender. However, only 940 cases with complete materials were performed. Results: Firstly, for age,HBeAg positive patients of were younger than negative ones;for baseline quantitation of serum HBsAg and HBVDNA levels, the positive were higher than the negative.Secondly,in the positive group,HBsAg had strong positive correlation with HBeAg and HBVDNA.Besides,HBeAg had slight positive correlation with HBVDA.Thirdly,in negative group, baseline HBsAg had strong negative correlation with age,but it had no relation with HBDNA.Fourthly,in HBeAg positive group, quantitative levels of HBsAg,HBeAg and HBVDNA significantly decreased after a long-term treatment of nucleoside(s).The higher the rate of HBsAg decline at the initial 6 months, the lower the baseline quantitation of HBsAg and HBeAg levels were more likely to reach the HBeAg serum response(SR).After 4 years of antiviral therapy,138 casessucceeded, including 35 cases in Group ETV,75 cases in Group LDT,11 cases in Group LDT+ADV,9 cases in Group ETV+ADV,and 8 cases in Gruop LAM+ADV.Fifthly,in negative group, all patients reached the virological responses(VR)after 4 years of antiviral therapy. The quantitative levels of HBsAg and HBVDNA both decreased significantly. Thus, there are not any predictive factor for the treatment. Conclusion: For HBeAg positive patients, the higher the rate of HBsAg declines during the initial 6 months, the lower the baseline quantitation of HBsAg and HBeAg levels are more likely to reach the HBeAg serum response(SR).On the other hand, for HBeAg negative patients, this research has not find any predictive factor for the treatment.
