The Clinical And Basic Study Of Zheng's Yangyinqingfei Decoction For Acute Pharyngitis

Objective:1.To prove the clinical efficacy of Zheng's Yangyinqingfei Decoction treating acute pharyngitis.2.To explore the probable mechanismof Zheng's Yangyinqingfei Decoction treating acute pharyngitis.Method:We have collected 60 patients with acute pharyngitis who come to Anhui Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine.It was a randomized,double-blind and controlled study,and all of the patients were divided into experimental group and control group.So there were 30 patients in every group.The patients in experimental group were treated by Yangyinqingfei Decoction,While the other were treated by the analogue medicine without any curative effect.Both of the two groups were treated with 5 days as a course of treatment.Then Collecting demographic data of patients,recording signs and symptoms before and after treatment.Finally,fill out the required form "Symptoms and signs quantization standard classification table".The rat model of acute pharyngitis were established by directly applying beta hemolytic streptococcus into pharyngeal mucos,and treated with Yangyinqingfei Decoction by 3 different concentration.Observation of the drug on the rat model of pharyngeal pathological morphology and serum C5a,TX-A2,IL-1 ?,IL-6 expression.We used SPSS 17.0 software for statistical analysis.And observing vital signs,ECG and adverse events before and after therapy for the sake of evaluating the safety to patients.Results:Clinical trial:Before treatment,the patients' gender,age,and the integral of signs and symptoms were no significant difference,with comparability.After treatment,Comparison of curative effect between experimental group and control group,P<0.05,with statistical significance;In the experimental group,markedly effective rate was 97%,and the total efficiency was 100%;In the control group,markedly effective rate was 10%,and the total effective rate was 40%.Animal experiment:Comparing with the blank group,the expression of serum C5a,TX-A2,IL-1 ?,IL-6 could be obviously inhibited in the Yangyinqingfei Decoction groups(P<0.05).Comparing with the Model group,the expression of serum C5a and TX-A2 could be obviously inhibited in all of the Yangyinqingfei Decoction groups(P<0.05);the expression of serum IL-1 ? could only be inhibited in the mid-doses goup(P<0.05);the expression of serum IL-6 could be inhibited in the Yangyinqingfei Decoction goups(P<0.05),except for the high-doses goup(P>0.05).The pathological changes of model groups with acute pharyngitis improved in different degrees for all Yangyinqingfei Decoction groups,and the best in the mid-doses goup.Conclusion:It indicates that Yangyinqingfei Decoction has a good curative effect on acute pharyngitis,and the therapeutic mechanisms of Yangyinqingfei Decoction may be related to the regulation on the expression of serum C5a,TX-A2,IL-1 ?,IL-6 and the inhibition on the pathological changes of pharynx.
