Objective:Pancreatic cancer is a malignant disease which has low early diagnostic rate?poor prognosis and high mortality rate. Its incidence in the worldwide scale is increasing year by year. But the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer is complex so it has not been clarified clearly so far. Therefore, investigations into effective methods of pancreatic cancer diagnosis are imperative.Thyroid hormone receptor interactor 6(TRIP6),belonging to the Zyxin family of LIM proteins,is a multifunctional adaptor protein. It is reported that TRIP6 plays a role in various of cancer progression. To investigate the different expression of TRIP6 in different disease stages and pathological types of pancreatic cancer,we observed and analyzed the expressions of TRIP6 in normal pancreatic tissues?pre-cancerous condition and pancreatic cancer tissues, providing experimental evidences for exploring early screening indexs?prognostic indicators and prospecting gene therapies of pancreatic cancer. Methods:Collected 96 cases of pancreatic tissues resected in Fuzhou general hospital from October 2009 to October 2016.Divided those cases into three groups:16 cases of normal pancreatic tissues?16 cases of pancreatic cystadenoma and 64 cases of pancreatic cancer tissues. Then further divided pancreatic cancer into the other three groups:19 cases of high differentiated pancreatic adenocarcinoma?28 cases of middle differentiated pancreatic adenocarcinoma?17 cases of low differentiated pancreatic adenocarcinoma. We employed immunohistochemistry to detect the expressions of TRIP6 in each group. Finally,we quantified immunohistochemistry results using IPP(Image-Pro Plus 6.0)professional imaging analysis system, then made a statistical analysis, discussing the differential expressions of TRIP6 in the interior-group and inter-group.Results:The expression of TRIP6 in normal pancreatic tissues and pancreatic cystadenoma is little and it is obvious in all pathological types of pancreatic cancer.1?The expression of TRIP6 is higher in pancreatic cancer than that in pancreatic cystadenoma(P<0.05),and is much higher than that in normal pancreatic tissues(P<0.01).2?There is no difference between normal pancreatic tissues and pancreatic cystadenoma(P>0.05).3?The expression level of TRIP6 in low differentiated pancreatic cancer is higher than that in middle differentiated pancreatic cancer(P<0.05),and is much higher than that in high differentiated pancreatic cancer(P<0.01);There is no difference between high and middle differentiated pancreatic cancer(P>0.05).The expression level of TRIP6 is increased with the decrease of pathological degree of pancreatic cancer. Conclusion:The expression of TRIP6 is much higher in pancreatic carcinoma than that in normal pancreatic tissues and pancreatic cystadenoma, and it increases with the progression of malignant tumor.Therefore,TRIP6 is likely to be an indicator of estimating the level of malignancy and prognosis of pancreatic cancer, and our study provides experimental evidences for exploring prospected gene therapies.
