ObjectiveIn this experiment,animals are injected with ginseng essence and ginsenoside.The positive effectson anti-depression provides valid evidence for further exploration of proper usage of ginsenoside.MethodsThe number of C57 male mice is 124,ramdonly distributed into 11 groups.1.One group is made up of 12 mice and t hey are injected with sodium chloride.2.Another 3 mice groups are injected with ginseng essence.One of these 3 groups is injected with 0.05g ginseng essence;one of these 3 groups is injected with 0.1g ginseng essence;one of these 3 groups is injected wi th 0.2g ginseng essence.These 3 groups are made up by 9 mice.3.Positive control group,consisted of 10 mice,is injected with 20mg fluoxetine.4.Ginsenoside Rb1 is injected wi th low,middle,high dose into 3 groups,each made up by 12 mice.low dose is 12.5mg;middle dose is 25mg;high dose is 50mg.5.(;insenoside Rg1 is injected with low,middle,high dose into 3 groups,each made up by 12 mice.low dose is 12.5mg;middle dose is 25mg;high dose is 50mg.Inject each dose,that is 10ml,into stomaches three times.On the first and second day of experiment,dose is given each day.The third dose is given hal f' an hour before the experiment.Hanging tails,swimming,open field test are conducted.Collect the data and analyse by chi-square test.ResutsWith the increase of ginseng extract to dose,activity is dose dependent increase in mice,including ginseng extract high group compared with blank group in three experiments are P<0.05,for a positive result.Ginseng can fight depression,and along with the increasing doses effect promotion.And ginseng saponin Rgl low in three compared with control group,P<0.05,the other two behavioral experiments in Rgl ginsenosides dose and high dose group compared with the control,P<0.05,for a positive result.Rgl ginsenosides are efficient,as one of the effective ingredients of ginseng to treat depression.Ginseng saponin Rbl dosage groups of low,middle,High compared with the control group average although increased,but all P>0.05).Negative for results,no statistical difference.Section for Rbl ginsenosides are not active ingredients of ginseng in the fight against depression.ConclusionBy the above experimental results it can be seen that at least a certain dose of Chinese traditional medicine ginseng has the effectiveness of antidepressants.And ginseng saponin Rgl as one of the main effective components.And ginseng saponin Rbl while in experiments on mice have a numerical test on the increase,however,no statistical significance.At least not ginseng to antidepressant effective ingredients.In ginseng pharmacological composition of monomer,ginseng saponin Rgl promising in the field of treatment of depression,are worth further development.
