Clinical Observation On The Therapeutic Effect Of Agkistrodon On Sjogren’s Syndrome Of Qi-Yin Deficiency With Blood-Stasis Syndrome

Objective The clinical efficacy of Agkistrodon are observed on Sj(?)gren,s syndrome of Qi-Yin deficiency with Blood-Stasis syndrome based on previous research foundation and in accordance with relevant clinical experience.Methods 52 patients were divided into two groups randomly:treatment of 26 patients taking Agkistrodon and the basic prescription medicine;26 patients in the control received the basic prescription medicine.The clinical symptoms、the disease activity score of SSDAI、the score of tcm symptom and life quality、the index of serology et al were recorded in this clinical observation.Results ①The treatment group had better results of immune function than the control group after treatment in particular had a substantial decrease in IgG In addition,the clinical symptoms、the disease activity score of SSDAI、the score of tcm symptom and life quality were improved.②The blood and urine routine,the hepatic and renal function,as well as the other adverse reactions of the treatment were observed before and after treatment.The blood and urine routine and the hepatic and renal functions had no change obviously before and after the treatment.Conclusion Agkistrodon has significantly immunosuppressive effects on the patients with Sj(?)gren’s syndrome of Qi-Yin deficiency with Blood-Stasis syndrome,thus improving the patients,condition、the standard of living and the quality of life.Agkistrodon,without obvious side effects,is effective and safe by oral administration in the treatment for Sj(?)gren’s syndrome.
