Clinical Analysis Of 70 Cases Of Sj(?)gren's Syndrome

BackgroundSj(?)gren's syndrome(SS)is one of the autoimmune diseases with high incidence,include primary Sj(?)gren's syndrome and secondary Sj(?)gren's syndrome.It is a common asystematic connective tissue disease mainly involving exocrine glands such as Salivary glands and lacrimal glands.The pathogeny of the disease are mostly unclear.In recent years,Sj(?)gren's syndrome has received more attention for the high prevalence.ObjectiveSj(?)gren's syndrome is a common diffuse connective tissue disease mainly affects the exocrine glands.To analyze the clinical symptom and system damage of the 70 patients with Sj(?)gren's syndrome.All the outcomes offer the clinical evidence for the preliminary diagnosis of Sj(?)gren's syndrome.MethodsSeventy patients who fulfilled the 2012 American College of Rheumatology Criteria for Sj(?)gren's syndrome from the hospital between 2015 and 2016 were screened retrospectively.ResultAmong the 70 patients,females more than male.The study consisted of 66(94.29%)female and 4(5.71%)male patients(female: male=16.5:1).The average age of onset of the disease was(51.56±11.44)years.The common incidence is 51 to 60 years old(35.71%).The onset symptoms usually included dry eyes(81.43%),dry mouth(58.57%),and cough(45.71%),dizzy(32.86%),muscle pain or numbness(15.71%),joint swelling or arthralgias(8.57%),fever(5.57%),insomnia(2.9%),reynolds phenomenon(2.9%).Oral examination found that 72.86% of the patients had more than 6 dental caries,72.86% of the patients had rampant caries.51.43% of patients had multiple dental caries in the age of 25-45 years(except childhood),10% of patients had recurrent oral ulcer,and 35.71% of patients had a "mirror tongue" Labial gland biopsy sensitivity and salivary glands positive rates were as follows: 74.29%?72.91%,they assumed to be important in the diagnosis of SS.ANA/SSA/SSB positive rates were as follows: 57.14%?37.14%?22.86%.Increased IgG was found,in about 7.14%.Sj(?)gren's syndrome with system injury consisted of the involvement of hematological system(48.57%),involvement of lung(44.28%),and involvement of thyroid(5.71%%).There were statistical significance between multiple caries groups and less caries groups in the organ involvement,labial gland biopsy tests,salivary glands tests,ANA,SSA,SSB tests(P<0,05).ConclusionThe number of male patients with Sj(?)gren's syndrome is much lower than female.Clinical manifestations were complex and diverse in forms,primarily included controlled exocrine damage as dry eyes and dry mouth.The first symptom of SS is divergent and this may result in late diagnosis or misdiagnosis.Sj(?)gren's syndrom can lead to systemic damage and it has inheritance intention.Early multiple caries and rampant caries can be used as an important reference index for the diagnosis of Sj(?)gren's syndrome.High incidence of other diseases in patients who with dental caries.
