Clinical Observation On The Effect In The Premenstrual Syndrome(Liver-qi Stagnation Type)by Cyclical Acupuncture Therapy

Objective This randomized controlled clinical trial adopts the clinical epidemiological,clinical research and statistical methods.To observe the differences in the clinical efficacy between the group of medicine group and the group of cyclical acupuncture therapy on premenstrual syndrome with liver-Qi stagnation type that promotes a more convenient,safe and effective Traditional Chinese Medicine Therapy for the clinical treatment of the disease.Method The 70 cases of premenstrual syndrome(liver-Qi stagnation type)patients met the inclusion criteria are randomly divided into two groups by serial number:Group of cyclical acupuncture therapy(treatment group)with:Taichong,Hegu,danzhong(premenstrual perio-d,treatment every 2 days once),and with Zusanli,xuehai,guanyuan,gansu,pisut(after men strual period,treatment every 2 days once).The course of treatment are 2 menstrual cycles in all.The chinese medicine group(control group)using Xiaoyao wan 8#Tid,during the whole treatment period.It is to assess the changes of major symptoms and body signs of preme-nstrual syndromes of each menstrual cycle before and after the trearment.Make respective observation and analysis of the score of Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM)symptom eval-uation,and the effective rate of treatment is counted with statistical treatment and safety,compliance evaluationResults The Acupuncture Group,9 were clinically cured,13 of excellence,8 of utility,and the total effectiveness is 85.71%;the Medicine Control Group,4 cases were clinically cured,9 of excellence,7 of utility,and the total effectiveness is 57.14%.The curative effect comparison of the two groups of patients shows the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the curative effect of the Acupuncture group is significantly higher than that of Medicne Group.Cyclical acupuncture therapy has significant curative effect on various symtoms and body signs of premenstrual syndrome and the difference has statistical significance(P<0.05),especially in lessening the headache,the breast pain,ang fidgety,campared with the Medicine Group.But it is same in the tantrum and depresstion.All in all,The group of cyclical acupuncture therapy is better than the medicine group in the improvement of TCM symptoms of the patients with PMS of liver-Qi stagnation type.Conclusion The cyclical acupuncture therapy can significantly improve premenstrual symptoms in patients with PMS of liver-Qi stagnation type;The cyclical acupuncture therapy for patients with premenstrual symptoms is better than the traditional drug therapy;The cyclical acupuncture therapy,a simple,safe,effective and better TCM therapy in treatment on premenstrual syndrome(liver-Qi stagnation type),is worthy of clinical popularization and application.
