Vascular dementia(VD)is dependent on ischemia or cerebral hemorrhage caused by an injury dementia.Vascular dementia after Alzheimer's disease that is now common form of dementia,its high prevalence,there is no good cure for the treatment of vascular dementia,vascular dementia and cannot easily be detected at an early stage,the general only the latter will be found,which gives patients and families have brought great distress,but also to the social cause great economic burden.So the dementia and treatment of vascular dementia is an indispensable research topic in modern medicine.Puerarin is a now known for vascular dementia have a therapeutic effect of the drug,with the advantages of low toxic side effects,but the specificity and puerarin are poor water solubility and low bioavailability.Puerarin has antioxidant utilize and enhance puerarin can be used to improve the body's antioxidant turned into brain lipid metabolism disorder caused by free radical peroxidation,and thus play a therapeutic role in vascular dementia.So,we hope that the formation of new modifications puerarin on P1 by adding puerarin has antioxidant groups in order to achieve enhanced puerarin antioxidant effect,and vascular dementia play a therapeutic role.This paper is the use of the method for preparing mouse model of bilateral carotid artery occlusion repeatedly through Y-maze and water maze study modifications P1 puerarin on learning and memory ability of mice is to improve the role and use of measuring small kit rat cerebral cortex superoxide dismutase(SOD)activity and hippocampus tissue malondialdehyde(MDA)content.Y-maze test results indicate that compared with the model group,puerarin modifier P1(100mg/kg)group P<0.01,there is a significant difference,indicating that puerarin P1 modifications to improve the rate of spontaneous alternation response of mice,and spatial memory in mice with a certain degree of improvement.Water-maze test results indicate that compared with the model group,Puerarin modifier P1(100mg/kg)group,P<0.05 significant difference,indicating that puerarin modifier P1 shortened swimming time model mice die for small learning and memory ability of rats have some improvement.SOD activity assay results suggest that compared with the model group,puerarin modifier P1(100mg/kg)group P<0.01,there is a significant difference,indicating that puerarin modifier P1 mouse brain model can enhance the vitality of SOD;MDA Determination of the results suggest that compared with the model group,puerarin modifier P1(100mg/kg)group P<0.05,there is a significant difference,indicating that puerarin modifier P1 mouse brain model can reduce the content of MDA.Prompted by the results of SOD and MDA,Puerarin modifier P1 can enhance antioxidant mice.In summary,Puerarin modifier P1 can improve learning and memory in mice with and enhance the antioxidant mice.By inference,Puerarin modifier P1 can enhance the body's antioxidant effects and thus vascular dementia plays a therapeutic role.
