Atractylodes lancea has two types according to the "Chinese Pharmacopoeia",and there are two decoction pieces:Atractylodes lancea and Bran fried Atractylodes lancea.The Atractylodes lancea was analyzed by Powder X-Ray Diffraction fingerprint technique.The results are as following:The south and north Atractylodes lancea were analyzed by power X-Ray Diffraction fingerprint pattern method,their difference were identified by Geometry topological traits and characteristic diffraction peaks,repeatability and reliability was ideal.Extracted and volatilized the volatile oil by utilizing steam distillation,concentrated the remnant decocted water into the water-soluble components.The "damp retention in middle-jiao" rat mode was established.Small intestine peristalsis rate,GAS level were measured to evaluate the Spleen and Stomach Function.Urine volume,and AQP2 content from urine,Kidney biopsy conditions of HE dyeing were observed to testify the eliminating dampness effect.According to the results,experimental groups had significant difference to the control group(P<0.05).Effect of high dose was more significant than low one.Bran fried Atractylodes lancea had better medical effect in strengthening spleen than Atractylodes lancea.According to the urine volume,positive control group and high dose water decocted component of Atractylodes lancea group had significance compared to the negative control group.Other ones had little difference.The experimental groups had little diuresis trend compared to the negative control group.According to the AQP2 content from urine high dose water decocted component of Atractylodes lancea and Bran Fried Atractylodes lancea had significance compared to the negative control group(P<0.05).The eliminating dampness effect between high dose groups and low ones had little difference,and the effect of Atractylodes lancea groups was superior to Bran Fried Atractylodes lancea ones.According to the observation concerning kidney biopsy conditions of HE dyeing.The glomerulus was slimly expanded after the animal model-making.The experimental groups had little difference compared to the negative control group,and each experimental group had little difference as well.HPLC were used to analyze the part of water-soluble components.Two chromatographic peaks of chloroform extract part from Atractylodes lancea and Bran fried Atractylodes lancea water-soluble component was decreased according to the HPLC analysis.One chromatographic peaks of normal butanol extract part from Atractylodes lancea and Bran fried Atractylodes lancea water-soluble component was decreased according to the HPLC analysis.Each water-soluble compound had more or less decrease after the processing.Meanwhile,the chloroform extract part was inferred as a active component for stomach function according to the experiment.X-Ray Diffraction pattern of Atractylodes lancea had ideal repeatability and characteristic property,the fingerprint traits could be references for distinguishing the south Atractylodes lancea and north one.The drying damp and strengthening spleen medical effect of Atractylodes lancea and Bran fried Atractylodes lancea was testified tentatively by small intestine peristalsis rate,GAS level,urine volume,and AQP2 content from urine,Kidney biopsy conditions of HE dyeing.The medical effect was promoted,and the side effect concerning the "zao" property of Atractylodes lancea can be alleviated by frying with bran.The primary chemical analysis of water-soluble components by HPLC provided a reference for further quality and quantity changes research.
