The Study Of The Alexithymia Characteristic Of Rheumatoid Arthritis Patients And The Correlation Between Alexithymia And Physical And Mental Symptoms

ObjectiveInvestigate and analyzis the general information,the results of laboratory examination,TAS-20 score,HAQ score,HAD score,DAS28 score and VAS score of 60 patients with RA.To explore the alexithymiathe characteristics of patients with RA and the relationships between alexithymia and the results of laboratory examination,physical pain,disease activity,negative emotion,capacity for action.MethodsSelected in line with the conditions of 60 cases of rheumatoid arthritis patients and 60 healthy people,with general data questionnaire,and the 20 item Toronto Alexithymia Scale Chinese version for evaluation and composition of TAs 20 group and control group.After the questionnaire survey method,HAQ,had,the vas of TAS-20 of investigation,get the 30 patients with rheumatoid arthritis please disorders,disease activity,emotional status,physical function score,descriptive statistics and correlation analysis.Results1.RA patients have significant alexithymia,the incidence rate was 50%.2.In RA patients,the TAS-20 total score and factor F1,F2,F3 score were significantly positively correlated with VAS score;the correlation coefficient of factor F1,F2 score TAS-20 score and VAS score were close,so there were a good consistency with them.3..In RA patients,the TAS-20 total score and factor F1,F2,F3 score were significantly positively correlated with HAQ score.4.In RA patients,the TAS-20 total score and every factor score were significantly positively correlated with anxiety,depression,and they were correlated with HAD score,but the correlation is less than the internal component table.5.There was no significant correlation between TAS-20 score and DAS28 score in RA patients.6.There was no significant correlation between the TAS-20 score and laboratory test results in RA patients.Conclusion1.The alexithymia level of patients with rheumatoid arthritis is relatively high;gender,disease duration,educational level,marital status and alexithymia had no significant influence on alexithymia level.2.The presence of alexithymia will affect the authenticity of evaluation of activity for the patients with rheumatoid arthritis.3.patients with rheumatoid arthritis who have high level of alexithymia often appear depressed,irritable mood states.4.Patients with high level alexithymia may more complainted that they had body pain.5.Degree of alexithymia and will not affect the objective evaluation for the symptoms of the disease of patients.6.Laboratory examination results of patients with rheumatoid arthritis were not affected by the degree of alexithymia.7.There were a strong internal consistency between the scores of TAS-20 component tables,and there were a strong internal consistency between every TAS-20 component table score and the TAS-20 total score.The consistency between factor F1 and F2 scores is wonderful,and the internal consistency between them and total score were better than that of F3.
