ObjectiveObjective to understand the composition of gastric cancer of recent decades in this area, through analysis and research of the gastric cancer cases diagnosised by pathology from January 2001-2010 December of Wuwei City,Gansu Province. To establish the theories and basic for deeper Interactive research the environmental exposure risk factors and genetic. And through investigate and analysis the date, relatively high central tendency incidence of gastric cancer area in this area.By the investigation and data analysis that revealed a relatively high incidence area of gastric cancer in the area of the region and the central tendency.MethodsThe Pathological diagnosed gastric cancer data was collected and electronic inputed from January 1,2001-December 31,2010,in People's Hospital of Wuwei City and Wuwei City,Academy of Medical Sciences, the gender differences in high incidence of age,the relative common type of pathological diagnosis and the high incidence region geographical central tendency of gastric cancer in Wuwei City,Gansu Province were obtained.Through subtotals and statistical analysis the incidence of gastric cancer for nearly a decade in gender, age, anatomical site, pathological type and incidence of relatively high incidence of region and so on.Results1.In Gansu Province Wuwei City, gastric cancer incidence ratio between male and female is 4.1:1,the male group incidence is higher than that of female group,The gender ratio between meal and female is 5.27:1 in the gastric cardia, which is significantly higher than that of other parts(P<0.05),the concentrated onset age is between 50-70 and the onset age is much younger.2.Incidence ratio of Cardia and body gastric cancer accounts for 66.90%of the total gastric cancer sites, and the incidence is much higher than other sites(P<0.05);That of adenocarcinoma gastric cancer accounts for 87.23%of all,and among that poorly differentiated carcinoma accounts for more than 1/2.3.The statistical results of four countie of Wuwei City of Gansu Province together with Yongchang County,a total of 88 administrative township.Reveal that among the 88 township, gastric cancer cases of 15 townships in ratio of the population number is higher than the other 73 townships. The significant difference is meaningful(P<0.05);there is not a significant statistically difference among 15 township(P>0.05).ConclusionThrough surveys and studies,Conclusion is that:the incidence of gastric cancer has significant gender differences, and incidence of males is higher than that of females;onset age of the region is concentrated after the 50 years old, trend of onset age is younger, the first diseased parts is cardiac cancer and the second is the body stomach cancer, other parts of the cancer was relatively small;the most histopathological type is adenocarcinoma, and the majority is poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, high malignancy degree, low rate of early detection in patients, low five-year survival rate and high mortality rate.gastric cancer within their region relatively high-fat and low-fat area in Wuwei City,Gansu Province, but there are obvious geographical concentration trends. The survey reveals the composition of gastric cancer in Wuwei City,Gansu Province from 2001 to 2010.The angle of departure from the cases are distributed in proportion to reveal the urban regions of Wuwei City relatively high incidence area.It provide theory and data support for further study reveals the region through environmental exposure of gastric of risk factors and environmental exposure to risk factors and genetic interactions.and provide new methods and ideas for the regional and national gastric cancer's diagnosis and treatment.
