ObjectiveIn this clinical research, the "pure western medicine" group, the "western medicine + MS" group, and the "western medicine+MS+acupuncture" group were randomly divided into three groups. The changes of MS patients' laboratory indexes were compared before and after treatment in each group."tongue and pulse information acquisition physical identification system" were used to assess the improvement of their patients' symptoms and signs of traditional Chinese medicine."optimization of TCM diagnosis and treatment program evaluation system" were used to analyze each plan,to achieve dual optimization of treatment and curative effect evaluation,to explore the best treatment for the metabolic syndrome. This study was designed to improve patients' quality of life and delay the disease process.Methods60 patients from September 2014 to January 2016 in the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Qingyuan City, after diagnosis, examination and testing conform to the inclusion criteria were randomly divided into 2 treatment groups of 20 cases("western medicine +MS" group and "western medicine +MS +acupuncture" group)and the control group of 20 cases(pure western medicine group).Collecting basic information before the study.Related indexes and laboratory test data were recorded respectively before and after treatment. The"tongue and pulse information acquisition physical identification system" were used to Collect information about TCM symptoms and signs before and after treatment. Finally evaluating three kinds of treatments from multi-angle comprehensive analysis with "traditional optimization treatment program evaluation system".Results(1)There was no significant difference in body weight before and after treatment in the pure western medicine group(P>0.05).“Western medicine +MS" and "western medicine + MS+ acupuncture" had significant difference before and after the treatment(P<0.05).Suggesting that "western medicine +MS" and "western medicine + MS + acupuncture" treatment could reduce body weight.(2)There was no significant difference in waist circumference before and after treatment with pure western medicine and "Western medicine +MS"(P>0.05)."western medicine + MS+ acupuncture" had significant difference before and after the treatment(P<0.05).It could be considered that the treatment of "western medicine +MS + acupuncture" had good effect on reducing the waist circumference of the patients.(3)The blood pressure differences of three groups before and after treatment were statistically significant(P<0.01).Comparising between the two groups of two,the blood pressure differences of pure western medicine and"western medicine + MS",pure western medicine and "western medicine + MS+acupuncture" were both statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the group of "western medicine+MS" and "western medicine + MS+ acupuncture" gro up(P>0.05).It suggested that "western medicine + MS" and "western medicine + MS +acupuncture" has better antihypertensive effect compared with pure western medicine treatment. The antihypertensive effect between "western medicine +MS" and "Western medicine + MS + acupuncture" without significant difference.(4)The TC,TG,LDL-C,HDL-C,FPG difference of three groups before and after treatment had statistical significance(P<0.01).It could be considered that these treatments could effectively reduce blood lipids and blood glucose levels.Comparising between the two groups of two after treatment, pure western medicine and "Western medicine +MS",pure western medicine and "Western medicine +MS + acupuncture",the blood lipids difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between "western medicine +MS" and“western medicine +MS + acupuncture" treatment(P>0.05).There was no statistical significance among the three groups after hypoglycemic treatment(P>0.05).It suggested that the three treatments had no significant difference in hypoglycemic effect.(5)Before and after treatment, the TCM constitution analysis had no statistical significance in pure western medicine group(P>0.05).There were significant differences between the "western medicine +MS" and "western medicine +MS + acupuncture”group(P<0.01).It showed that the MS patients'constitution in pure western medicine treatment group had no obvious improvement."western medicine+MS”and "Western medicine + MS +acupuncture" treatment could significantly improve the patients' physique. The differences between pure western medicine group and "western medicine +MS" group, pure western medicine group and "Western medicine + MS +acupuncture" group were both statistically significant after treatment(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between "western medicine +MS"and "western medicine +MS + acupuncture" group(P>0.05).It suggested "western medicine" and "western medicine +MS + acupuncture" both had better effect in improving physical fitness than pure western medicine treatment, but the difference is not significant.(6)After analyzing the“optimization of TCM diagnosis and treatment program evaluation system",three treatment schemes were evaluated according to the scores.Prompting the order from liberally to the poor was "western medicine + MS + acupuncture" treatment,"western medicine + MS" treatment, pure western medicine treatment.ConclusionBased on statistical analysis with multiple sets of data about weight, waist circumference, blood pressure, blood lipids and blood glucose, and“tongue and pulse information acquisition physical identification system" output information analysis, and the level analysis of effectiveness, safety, compliance according to "optimization of TCM diagnosis and treatment program evaluation system",it could be considered that "western medicine +MS + acupuncture" was the best treatment plan in this experiment. The research provided ideas for the further disease treatment scheme optimization study.
