New Opening Power Type Nail Anterior Cervical Plate System Development And Its Biomechanical Study And Clinical Application

Objective:To develop a new type of open-powered cervical spine system,to study its biomechanical properties,and clinical applications for anterior cervical surgery,to assess its clinical efficacy.Methods:12 fresh goat cervical specimens,the use of high precision digital display grating displacement sensor system,compare the new open type dynamic nail plate fixation with Atlantis nail plate fixation effect on the stability of the instability of cervical vertebrae,pull out strength and fatigue strength.In clinic,128 patients were treated with anterior cervical surgery,followed by regular follow-up,and evaluated their cervical stability,internal fixation and bone graft fusion according to imaging data.Follow-up indicators including cervical Cobb Angle,pain,visual analogue scale(VAS)and the Japanese orthopaedic association(JOA)spinal cord function score,and comprehensive evaluation of new open type power preliminary clinical curative effect of anterior cervical nail plate.Results:Biomechanical tests show that 1.The new opening power type nail anterior cervical plate system can play and Atlantis nail plate system,the equivalent of three dimensional stability can ensure the stability of anterior cervical fixation surgery;2.The new opening type dynamic anterior cervical nail plate and Atlantis nail plate fatigue life and fatigue strength are similar,enough to maintain the cervical stability after anteriorbone graft fusion,nail plate system in the body is safe and effective for a long time;3.The overall fixed performance of the new type of open-type cervical nailing system is good.In the clinical application,128 patients were followed up 6 to 24 months after surgery,averaging 12.36 months,and the fusion was satisfactory,with no steel screws loosening,breaking and disintegrating.Conclusion:Nail new open type dynamic anterior cervical plate system has a good biomechanical characteristics of the cervical spine stability effect is good,the operation process is simple and convenient operation,safe and effective,worthy of clinical promotion.
