Objective:Contrast enhanced ultrasound was used to analyze the correlation between characteristics of CEUS of breast cancer and tumor size, histological grade, axillary lymph node metastasis, immunohistochemical markers estrogen receptor(ER),progesterone receptor(PR),HER-2,Ki-67,and investigate the intrinsic relationship between the enhancement features and various prognostic indicators to provide a reference for the selection of breast cancer treatment strategies and prognostic evaluation.Methods:Fifty-six cases(58 lesions)of female breast cancer patients who did not receive any treatment underwent contrast enhanced ultrasound examination before surgery and all had pathological findings after surgery.Analysis of the association of enhanced features(enhanced levels, enhancement methods, filling defects, range changes, and perforator vessels)and size of tumors, histological grades, axillary lymph node metastases, expression of immunohistochemical markers ER,PR,HER-2,Ki-67.Results:1.There was a correlation between mass size and enhancement level, filling defect and perforator artery(P<0.05).Breast cancer with diameter greater than 20 mm was more prone to high enhancement, filling defect and perforator artery. After contrast enhanced ultrasound, the range changes and enhancement methods did not correlate with the size of the lesions(P>0.05).2.The expression of ER,HER-2 and Ki-67 was related to filling defect(P<0.05),and ER negative,HER-2 positive, and Ki-67 positive expression masses were more prone to filling defects. There was no correlation between enhancement levels, enhancement patterns, range changes, perforator vessels and immunohistochemistry(P>0.05).3.The tumor size, filling defect and perforator artery were correlated with axillary lymph node metastasis(P<0.05).The primary lesions of breast cancer with diameter more than 20 mm,filling defect and perforator artery were more likely to have lymph node metastasis.4.The correlation between filling defect and histological grade of invasive ductal carcinoma was statistically significant(P<0.05).Filling defects were more likely to occur in higher grade lesions.Conclusion:1.Some enhancement features of contrast enhanced ultrasonography in breast cancer were related to tumor size, histological grade, lymph node metastasis, and immunohistochemical markers.2.Enhanced features of contrast enhanced ultrasound can reflect the biological characteristics of breast cancer to a certain extent,CEUS may become a new means, providing a basis for the selection of treatment options for breast cancer and the evaluation of prognosis.
