Study On The Chemical Constituents Of The Phyllanthus Urinaria L.

In this study,the chemical constituents of Phyllanthus urinaria L.were studied systematically.After extraction with 95%ethanol,the extract was extracted with petroleum ether,ethyl acetate and n-butanol,respectively.The petroleum ether,ethyl acetate and n-butanol are isolated and purified by column chromatography[Silica gel column chromatography,Sephadex LH-20,MCI,macroporous resin,RP-C18 and other open column chromatography and semi-preparative（Pre-HPLC）chromatography],thin layer chromatography[Thin layer inspection and thin layer separation（Pre-TLC）]and recrystallization.Their structures are identified by ¹H-NMR and ¹³C-NMR combined with physicochemical property.30 compunds are isolated and identified from Phyllanthus urinaria L.Respectively,The petroleum ether:（9Z,12Z）-nonadeca-9,12-dienoic acid（1）,methyl linoleate（2）,cassipourol（3）,stigmasterol（4）,Blumenol-A（5）,（8R,8′S,7S）-4′-（3′′-methoxyrhamnopyranosyl）oxy-8′-hydroxyl-3,3′,4-trimethoxy-8-hydroxymethyl-lign-7-9′-lactone（6）;ethyl acetate:4-ethoxybenzoic acid（7）,Methyl gallate（8）,Ethyl gallate（9）,7S,8R-erythro-4,7,9,9’-tetrahydroxy-3,3’-dimethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan（10）,7S,8S-threo-4,7,9,9’-tetrahydroxy-3,3’-dimethoxy-8-O-4’-neolignan（11）,menisdaurilide（12）,aquilegiolide（13）,（4R,6S）-2,3-dihydromenisdaurilide（14）,（4R,6R）-2,3-dihydromenisdaurilide（15）,Diisobutyl phthalate（16）,Dibutyl phthalate（17）,Gallic acid（18）,Caffeic acid（19）,Kaempferol（20）,Luteolin（21）,Quercetin（22）,β-1,6-di-O-galloyl-D-glucose（23）,Protocatechuic acid（24）,Protocatechualdehyde（25）;n-butanol:5-hydroxymethyl-2-furan formaldehyde（26）,Ellagic acid（27）,Rutinium（28）,corilagin（29）,New hesperidin（30）.Compounds 1,2,5,12,13,16,17,23,26 are isolated from the plant for the first time;compounds 3,6,10,11,14,15 are isolated form Phyllanthus Linn.For the first time.In this paper,the literatures on the chemical constituents and pharmacological effects of Phyllanthus urinaria L.were reviewed in the past 30 years.
