Objective:To determine which surgical techniques is the least likely to develop complications in the treatment of chronic ankle instability. Methods:References of Pub Med database,Embase database,Medline database,Cochrane Library,VIP Chinese Journal of Science and Technology Database,Wanfang Database,CNKI full-text database and related literature were searched by computer. The search time was from the database to November 2017 Chinese orthopedic magazine,Chinese Journal of Traumatology,Chinese Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, and some academic papers of medical colleges and universities. The selected articles are assessed against inclusion and exclusion criteria.Evaluate the article as a modified Coleman method(0-90).Analysis of the number of patients, surgical methods, complications, complication rates.Weighted mean,SD and 95% CI were calculated from these data. Results:There are 2867 search results,of which 10 are eligible. These articles included 372 patients with an average age of 30.7 years(SD ± 2.8)years.The average Coleman score was 56.1 points(SD ± 2.9 points).Complications were reported as 11.11%(n = 37).There was no significant difference in the complication risk between autologous tendon transplantation and allogeneic tendon transplantation when compared with OR,which showed anatomical repair. The overall complication rates ranged from 8.33% to 12.10%.Conclusion:1.There is no significant difference in the risk of complications among surgical techniques.2.In order to increase the reliability of the results, more homogeneity studies are needed to fully report the complications.
