Objective:To assess the effect of DSA and ultrasound dual-guided percutaneous catheter drainage in treatment of pyogenic liver abscess(PLA).Methods:From January 2013 to October 2017,74 patients of pyogenic liver abscess were treated with percutaneous catheter drainage in our department. Those patients were divided into two groups, the experimental group of 39 patients with DSA and ultrasound dual-guide from October 2015 to October 2017,the control group of 35 patients with DSA single guide from January 2013 to October 2015.Statistical methods were used to analyze the operation time and incidence of postoperative complications, days of hospitalization, cure rate, recurrence rate, mortality rate. Results:Compared with the control group, the operation time of the experimental group was shortened(P=0.000),holding more higher cure rate(P=0.036)and more lower incidence of complications(P=0.028).The differences of the days of hospitalization(P=0.198),recurrence rate(P=0.099)and mortality(P=0.267)were statistically significant in the two groups. Conclusion:DSA and ultrasound dual-guided percutaneous catheter drainage in treatment of PLA is safe and effective. It is worth promoting.
