Objective: To compare the practical differences between OCS-P and MoCA in assessment for cognitive impairment after acute ischemic stroke. Methods: This research is a prospective observational study, consecutively enrolled The first occurrence of acute ischemic stroke patients admitting in the neurological department of the first affiliated hospital of Jinan University from November,2016 to March,2018.We Randomly adopted OCS-P and Beijing Mo CA to assess cognitive function in hospital within 14 days of patient onset.Assessment time interval 0 to 2 days and NIHSS assessment completed at the same time. The diagnosis of post stroke congnition impairment is based on the abnormality of OCS-P and/or Mo CA assessment results,OCS-P referenced English version OCS reference,Mo CA is divided into 22 reference.collected information, performed chi-square test,Fisher's test, and so on.Results: ? A total of 100 patients with initial ischemic stroke were enrolled. All were right-handed,an average of 8.2 days(SD = 3.22),Based on the results of cranial MR scanning,49 cases of cerebral infarction were in the right hemisphere,37 cases of cerebral infarction in the left hemisphere, and 14 cases of cerebral infarction in other sites, such as the brain stem and cerebellum.OCS-P completed 100 tests,Mo CA completed 91 tests, and two scales completed 91 tests.? The incidence of PSCI detected by Mo CA was 48.4%(44/91).There was no statistical difference between the two scales(P=0.839).? There were no significant differences in the screening results between OCS-P and Mo CA among different levels of education, age, and stroke severity(P>0.05).? Statistical evaluation of OCS-P showed that the incidence of language, memory, and digitally written cognitive domains was higher in the left hemisphere infarction(P<0.05);however,there was no significant difference in the Mo CA assessment(P>0.05).Therefore,OCS-P is more likely to present the correlation between cognitive domains and infarct sites than Mo CA.Conclusion:? There was no significant difference between OCS-P and Mo CA in the detection of acute ischemic stroke.? Compared with Mo CA,OCS-P is more likely to present the association between the infarcted site and the cognitive domain.
