Objective:To retrospectively analyze the curative effect of traditional Chinese medicine combined with operation on elderly patients with femoral intertrochanteric fractures. In order to provide reference for clinical work and provide better treatment options.Methods:70 cases of senile intertrochanteric fracture of the femur were treated in our hospital from April 2014 to April 2017.The patients were divided into the control group(35 cases)and the study group(35 cases)according to the random digital table method. On the basis of the PFNA operation, the study group was given traditional Chinese medicine decoction plus Chinese medicine external washing, while the control group was given consolation Decoction plus iodophor disinfection. The age ranged from 65 to 91 years, with an average of 74.1±10.7 years, including 23 males and 47 females. There were 36 left fractures and 34 right fractures. The changes of serum bone alkaline phosphatase(BALP)and tartrate-resistant acid phosphatase(TRACPb)before and after surgery were compared.the bed time during hospitalization, the time of hospitalization and the time after the operation, the pain, the postoperative complications, the bone mineral density, the healing time of the fracture, and the index of the hip joint function were compared between the two groups. The data were processed by spss19.0 statistical software and the relevant results were obtained. Results:All cases were followed up for 6-12 months, with an average of(10.127±1.20)months.There was no significant difference in the operation time, blood loss between the two groups.there was no statistically significant difference in fracture healing rates between the two groups at 1 months after operation(P<0.05).However,1-4 weeks after operation, the analgesia of the study group was significantly better than that of the control group(P<0.05).At 3 months after surgery,BALP in the study group was significantly higher than before operation, while TRACP5 b was significantly lower than before operation(P<0.05).In the control group, the weight-bearing time was(13.526±1.8669)w and the fracture healing time was(11.632±2.7967)w,but the study group was(11.391±1.6442)w,(10.381±2.3272)w.Comparison of the two groups of data(P<0.05)showed statistically significant. At 12 months after operation,Harris hip function scores in the two groups(P>0.05)showed no significant difference. The study group was earlier in terms of fracture healing time, increased bone mineral density, postoperative analgesia, and weight-bearing time. Conclusion:Good results have been achieved in the treatment of senile intertrochanteric fractures in the study group and the control group. However, the study group has a certain advantage in weight loss time, postoperative analgesia, fracture healing time, and increased bone mineral density. Therefore, the combination of Chinese and Western method in the treatment of intertrochanteric fractures in the elderly is an ideal choice.
