Comparison Of The Effect Of Two Kinds Of Gingival Retraction Methods

Objective:By comparing the effects of the two types of gingival retraction methods,the comfort level of the subjects,the operation time of drainage and the effective drainage time,the treatment options for patients of different ages,constitutions and lesions were selected.The most suitable way of drainage is to provide reference and guidance for the clinical choice of drainage.Methods:Fifteen subjects were selected and their maxillary premolars were retracted in two ways: defecating lines and draining gingiva.The width of the gingival sulcus was measured;the continuity of the edges of the model was observed;the bleeding of the gums was observed;the patient's pain level during the drainage of the two types of sputum was recorded;the amount of gingival crevicular fluid was recorded;the operating time of the two modes was recorded;comprehensive evaluation of the effectiveness of sputum drainage.Results:The gingival retraction cord and gingival retraction paste can both achieve ideal drainage effect.The model obtained after drainage is clear,and the difference does not have statistical significance.However,the difference in the comfort of the experimental object and the difference in the operating time of the operator There was a statistically significant difference in bleeding between the subjects and the gums.The comfort level of the discharge relieving cream group was significantly higher than that of the resuscitation line group,and the operation time of the operator was significantly shortened by the repellent cream.Conclusion:These two gingival retraction techniques can both achieve ideal clinical drainage effect.But the shorter chair-side operation time of the gingival retraction paste and the discomfort to the subject are smaller,and it is more suitable for higher comfort requirements.Or special groups that cannot be treated for a long time.
