Advances In The Application Of Debridement In The Treatment Of Diabetic Foot

Diabetic foot(DF)refers to the foot infection,ulcer and/or deep tissue damage associated with peripheral neuropathy and/or distal extremity vascular lesions.DF is considered the most common cause of non-traumatic lower limb amputation.Debridement is an important part of diabetic foot therapy,and it is also an important strategy for accelerating the transformation and healing of diabetic foot ulcer.This paper,by consulting the relevant literatures at home and abroad,summarized the mechanism and therapeutic effect of surgical debridement,biological debridement,mechanical debridement,autolytic debridement,enzyme debridement and other debridement methods in the treatment of diabetic foot,in order to demonstrate the necessity and importance of debridement in the diabetic foot.
