ObjectiveTo study the effect of non-energy dissection technique on recurrent laryngeal nerve(RLN)in the dissection of recurrent laryngeal nerve related lymph node(RLNRLN)in patients with non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).MethodsThe incidence of RLN injury in patients with NSCLC who underwent radical resection in our hospital from January 2016 to December 2017 between the non-energy-dissection and energy-dissection groups was studied retrospectively.ResultsAmong the 118 patients, the rate of RLNRLN metastasis was 5.2%.The incidence of RLN injury in the energy-dissection group was 27.2%,meanwhile that in the non-energy-dissection was 12.5%(P=0.016).Theincidence of RLN injury in conventional thoracotomy was 11.4%,that in VATS approach was 24.6%(P=0.036).The incidence of RLN injury in the left lung cancer was 28.2%,that in the right lung cancer was12.6%(P=0.010).ConlusionThe application of non-energy dissection technique can effectively reduce RLN damage.VATS approach or the left located NSCLC is more prone to RLN injury. |
