| Clq/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 is a newly-discovered anti-inflammatory adipokine,which shares a semblable structure with adiponectin.Accumulating evidence has demonstrated that C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 takes part in reducing glucose levels,regulating insulin resistance.At the same time,C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 exhibits protective properties on arteriosclerosis,coronary heart disease,myocardial infarction and vascular injury.Although there are many problems on utilization of C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 that have not been solved,the discovery of C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 will lead to the development of therapeutic strategies on metabolic disease and cardiovascular disease in the future.This review focuses on studying advances of C1q/tumor necrosis factor related protein3 in glucolipid metabolism and cardiovascular protection. |
