Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of SPECT/CT fusion imaging for thyroid nodules,to summarize the image features of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, and to identify the key points of differential diagnosis.methods:The results of thyroid imaging of 2169 thyroid nodules in 1761 patients,a retrospective analysis was conducted to evaluate the sensitivity, specificity and accuracy of SPECT/CT fusion imaging in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules.Image features, imaging diagnosis and pathological results were compared. Results:The sensitivity was 52.2%,specificity was 81.7%,positive predictive value was 68.2%,negative predictive value was 69.4%,positive likelihood ratio was 2.85,negative likelihood ratio was 0.59,the coincidence rate was 69%of the SPECT/CT fusion imaging in the diagnosis of thyroid nodules;there were statistically significant differences in thyroid nodule location, size, shape, boundary, calcification, calcification type, density, homogeneous, perfusion time, radionuclide imaging in benign and malignant nodules in nodular type;Logistic regression analysis indicated that the boundary is not clear, irregular shape, non hot nodules for diagnosis of thyroid malignant nodules has a larger value to diagnosis.Conclusion:SPECT/CT fusion imaging has a limited value in diagnosis of benign and malignant thyroid nodules, and it is not recommended for routine use. However,it is a good supplement for clinicians to understand thyroid function because it can provide functional imaging of thyroid.
