Situs inversus is a rare congenital malformation characterized by complete reversal of the thoracic and abdominal organs.There is a significant technical difficulty in the liver transplantation of such patients or use of the anti-position liver as a donor liver due to the completely inverted anatomy,which is highly challenging.Some cases about liver transplantation in which situs inversus were used as donors or recipients have been reported in recent years.Different attempts have been made in the placement and direction of transplanted livers and the anastomosis of vasculature,gaining many experience.This article summarized the characteristics of donor-negative liver transplantation,recipient-negative liver transplantation,and liver transplantation from situs inversus to situs inversus,providing clinical work for a certain reference. |
