Ultrasonic imaging technology can not only show the degree and range of pathology of rotator cuff tear that help to make the right diagnosis,but also be used for evaluating integrity and healing of rotator cuff repair after surgery.With its advantages of high resolution,real-time operation and low price,ultrasonic imaging technology has become a preferred imaging examination method diagnosing rotator cuff tears,but there are also shortcomings which influence the diagnostic accuracy.The advent of new technologies,such as elastic ultrasonic imaging technology,will further enhance the value of ultrasonic imaging technology in the diagnosis and treatment of rotator cuff tear.
