Objective: To study the effect of unilateral craniotomy on the cognitive function of patients with multiple intracranial aneurysms. Methods:MMSE and MoCA scores were compared between multiple aneurysm patients and single aneurysms using the Mini Mental State Scale(MMSE)and the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA)before and after surgery(before discharge)and 6 months after surgery.Results:1.The multiple aneurysms group was compared with the single aneurysm group:(1)There was no significant difference in the preoperative MMSE and MoCA scores between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no statistical significance;(2)Patients in the two groups There was no significant difference in the incidence of MMSE and MoCA scores and cognitive impairment after surgery(before discharge)and 6 months after operation(P>0.05).No statistical significance was found.2.Multiple aneurysm patients self-contrast:(1)Preoperative and postoperative(pre-discharge)MMSE and MoCA scores were not significantly different(P>0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference.(2)There was a significant difference between MMSE and MoCA scores after surgery(before discharge)and 6 months after discharge(P<0.05),statistically significant.3.Comparison of patients with bilateral multiple aneurysms and anterior communicating aneurysms.Comparison of unilateral multiple aneurysms with unilateral single aneurysms.Preoperative,postoperative(pre-discharge)and postoperative 6 months cognitive function.Significant differences(P>0.05)were not statistically significant.4.Comparison of cognitive function scoresbetween patients with multiple bilateral aneurysms and multiple unilateral aneurysms: There was no significant difference in cognitive function scores before and after surgery(before discharge)and 6 months after discharge(P>0.05).No statistical significance. Conclusion: The effect of cognitive function in patients with multiple intracranial aneurysms is mainly due to subarachnoid hemorrhage, and the operation itself has little effect on patients' cognitive function.
