Objective: This study analyzed the association between serum pro-NT level and ACS.Methods:We select 200 patients who underwent coronary angiography in the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from June 2017 to December2017.According to the symptoms and the results of coronary angiography, they were divided into acute coronary syndrome group and normal control group who was without coronary stenosis. The ACS group was further divided into non-ST-segment elevation ACS group and ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction group according to clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination. The ACS group was also divided into low-risk group,middle-risk group and high-risk group according to the syntax score.Serum levels of pro-NT in all patients were determined after collecting the clinical biochemical indexes of blood lipid?liver and kidney function.Results:1.There was no statistical difference in age,sex ratio,BMI,prevalence of hypertension, prevalence of diabetes, smoking and drinking ratio and family history of cardiovascular disease among the control group,NSTEACS group and STEMI group, and there was no significant difference in biochemical indicators such as total cholesterol, high density lipoprotein, low density lipoprotein and fasting blood sugar among the three groups(P>0.05).2.The serum pro-NT level in ACS group was higher than that in control group(107.6±14.74pg/mL VS.49.88±13.26pg/mL),and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).The serum pro-NT level in STEMI group was significantly higher than that in CON group(119.68±16.31pg/mL VS.49.88±13.26pg/mL,P<0.01)and NSTEACS group(119.68±16.31pg/mLVS.95.52±14.98pg/mL,P <0.05),the serum pro-NT level in NSTEACS group was higher than that in CON group(95.52±14.98pg/mL VS.49.88±13.26pg/mL,P <0.05).3.The pro-NT level was positively correlated with BMI(r=0.62,P<0.01).The level of pro-NT was positively correlated with LDL-C(r=0.89,P<0.01).4.The level of the serum pro-NT in acute coronary syndrome group was positively correlated with syntax score(r=0.98,P<0.01).The level of the pro-NT in the high risk group was significantly higher than that in low risk group(130.97±15.78pg/mL VS.73.45±13.89pg/mL,P<0.01)and middle risk group(130.97±15.78pg/mL VS.118.38 ± 14.34pg/mL,P<0.05).The serum pro-NT level in the middle risk group were higher than that in the low risk group(118.38 ± 14.34pg/mL VS.73.45 ± 13.89pg/mL,P<0.05).Conclusions:The level of pro-NT in serum increased significantly in ACS group and was positively correlated with syntax score, suggesting that pro-NT may play an important role in the occurrence and development of ACS.
