Objects: In this study,we detect the serum levels of DKK-1 in women with rheumatoid arthritis and healthy women. And analysis the Correlation with clinical examination results(such as anti-CCP antibody titers,ESR,RF,CRP,blood lipid series, etc.)and imaging related examination. To investigate the expression of DKK-1 in serum of patients with RA and its clinical significance, and provide a clinical basis for application of DKK-1.Methods: 58 patients with RA and 3 healthy controls were included in this study. The enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA)was used as the experimental method. The DKK-1 level in the serum of two experimental groups was measured. The clinical data of RA patients were collected. With statistical method analysis the serum levels of DKK-1 of two group;C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)The correlation between cyclic citrullinated peptide(CCP)antibody, rheumatoid factor(RF)and bone mineral density(T)and the serum DKK-1 level and T value Results: The serum level of DKK-1 in RA patients was significantly higher than that in healthy controls(P <0.01).There was a significant correlation between DKK-1 levels and BMD T values in RA patients and controls(P <0.01)There was no significant correlation between DKK-1 level and anti-CCP antibody,CRP,RF,ESR and other inflammatory markers(P> 0.05).Conclusion: DKK-1 levels in serum of patients with RA increased specifically, which can reflect that the possible serum DKK-1 occupied a very important position in the pathogenesis of RA patient, and it may also serve as a reference indicator of RA prognosis.DKK-1 is closely related to bone mineral density, which provides new ideas for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis bone erosion and is expected to become a new target for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis.
