Objective : Benign paroxysmal positional vertigo is the common disease of neurology department and frequent occurrence. This paper analyzed the risk factors of BPPV patients in the department of neurology and the syndromes of TCM syndromes.Timely formulating effective preventive measures and carrying out related treatment to prevent the occurrence of BPPV,and guiding the treatment of TCM syndrome differentiation. Methods:The clinical data of 200 patients with benign paroxysmal position vertigo in the department of neurology of affiliated hospital of chengdu university of traditional Chinese medicine were selected in the case group from February 2017 to November 2017.Collect information of patients, including name, age, sex,of course, every time the duration of the dizziness, attack frequency, aggravating or alleviate factors and accompanying symptoms, nervous system, physical examination, basic diseases, auxiliary examination, reset treatment, eye shake, affected semicircular canal, the situation of traditional Chinese medicine, such as factor analysis summary.Control group randomly selected from Chengdu University Of Traditional Chinese Medicine hospital physical examination center of 60 cases of physical examination, using SPSS22.0 statistical software for statistical processing. Many dangerous factors analysis using logistic regression model, the OR value of 95% can be used to represent the available area, multiple factors screening using stepwise method, entry and exit equation P values are set to 0.05 and 0.10,respectively,with P < 0.05,with statistical significance..Results:(1)The incidence rate of male and female patients in BPPV was about 1:2.13.(2)The onset age of BPPV patients is 40 to 60 years old.(3)Patients with high blood pressure and speech to Mr,diabetes otitis media for many years, high blood pressure, diabetes, meini, otitis media, insomnia, migraine and head trauma history of the onset of BPPV statistically significant(P < 0.05).(4)Responsibility semicircular canal: after the semicircular canal,a total of 164 cases, accounting for 82% of the total; There were 15 cases of horizontal semicircular canal, accounting for 7% of the total.2 cases of the former semicircular canal, accounting for 1% of the total;Mixed semicircular canals in 19 cases, accounting for 10% of the total.(5)Traditional Chinese medicine in phlegm turbidity resistance in the most common vertigo, accounts for about 38% of the total,18% of the total blood deficiency syndrome, liver Yang syndrone accounted for 21% of the total, kidney Yin deficiency syndrome(8%),kidney Yang deficiency syndrome(4%),syndrome of blood stasis resistance and the orifices(11%).Conclusion:(1)The onset age of BPPV patients was 40 to 60 years old, with more women than men.(2)Hypertension,Otitis media,Diabetes Mellitus,Meniere,Insomnia, and Migraine are independent risk factors for BPPV.(3)In the affected semicircular canal, the later semicircular canal is mostly, followed by mixed semicircular canal, horizontal semicircular canal, and the former semicircular canal.(4)In TCM syndrome differentiation, the most common symptoms are phlegm, followed by liver Yang,qi and blood deficiency syndrome, stasis syndrome, deficiency syndrome of kidney Yin and deficiency of kidney Yang.
