Clinical Observation On Treatment Of Acne Vulgaris(Gastrointestinal Damp-heat Syndrome) With Zhaqu Pingweisan Combined With Xianglianjinhuangsan

Objective:This study was to observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Oral Zhaqu Pingweisan combined with topical application of Xianglianjinhuangsan for the treatment of acne vulgaris(Gastrointestinal Damp-Heat Syndrome)through randomized controlled trials,and to explore the practicability of internal and external treatment combined with traditional Chinese medicine for acne vulgaris.And last,to provide new treatment options for the clinical treatment.Methods:Randomly allocated into the group,the 72 patients were divided into observation group and control group,36 in each group.The observation group was given the herbal medicine Zhaqu Pingweisan,and the control group was given the proprietary Chinese medicine tanshinone capsule.Both groups were given external application of Xianglianjinhuangsan.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.The patients were followed up every week.At the time of return visit,the number of lesions,syndromes,and changes in TCM syndromes before and after treatment were observed.After the second and the fourth weeks of treatment were completed,the number of skin lesions,main symptoms,and secondary symptom scores were statistically analyzed to determine the treatment effect.Results:(1)After the course of treatment,the number of skin lesions disappeared after 2 weeks of treatment in terms of the number of lesions disappeared,P=0.586>0.05.After 4 weeks,P=0.008<0.05.In terms of the number of lesions disappeared,the total effective rate was 90.3% in the observation group and 84.8% in the control group.After the rank sum test,there was no difference between the groups.(2)In the main symptom(clinical syndrome),the total effective rate was93.5% in the observation group and 84.8% in the control group.After the rank sum test,there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups(P=0.044<0.05).(3)In the secondary disease(TCM syndrome),the total effective rate was90.3% in the observation group and 69.6% in the control group.Between groups,the difference was statistically significant(P=0.000<0.05).Conclusion:Zhaqu Pingweisan combined with Xianglianjinhuangsan,in terms of the number of skin lesions disappeared,in the short term(2weeks)and Tanshinone combined with the effectiveness of the Golden Flavor.Long-term(4 weeks)treatment has significant advantages.However,the two groups were evenly matched in the elimination rate of skin lesions.In terms of clinical comprehensive efficacy and TCM symptoms,the curative effect was significantly higher than that of tanshinone and Xianglianjinhuangsan.And the method is safe,low recurrence rate,it is worthy of clinical application.
