Objective: To study the expressions of CMTM3 and MMP2 in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and whether there is statistical difference between them.To analyze and compare the correlations of the two factor expressions with clinicopathological features, thus providing a theoretical basis for the diagnosis, treatment and prognosis of gastric cancer. Methods: A total of 61 gastric cancer patients in the emergency surgery of the Affiliated Hospital of Qiingdao University from November 2015 to December 2016 were randomly included into the current study. After excluding 1 case of Preoperative chemotherapy. We obtained the adjacent tissue(resection margin 6cm)and gastric cancer tissue after operation. And we need to made them into pathological section. We divided them into the gastric cancer group and the paracancerous group. In the study,we used immunohistoche-mical method to detect the expression of CMTM3 gene and MMP2 gene in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues, and then analyzed the difference between the two groups.According to the age, sex, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion,TNM stage and tumor differentiation, the clinical indicators of gastric cancer patients were compared.According to the age, sex, lymph node metastasis, depth of invasion,TNM stage and tumor differentiation,we compared the clinical indicators of gastric cancer patients.Results:(1)The positive expression rates of CMTM3 gene in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were 40% and 100%,respectively.There were significant differences in statistics between the two groups(P<0.05)(2)The positive expression rates of MMP2 gene in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were 66.67% and 25%,respectively.Statistical analysis showed that there was a significant difference in the expression of MMP2 gene in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues(P<0.05).(3)Analysis of r=-0.689,P<0.05 by Spearman correlation, there was a significant difference between the expression of CMTM3 and MMP2 gene in gastric cancer tissues, the expression of CMTM3 gene and MMP2 gene in gastric cancer with negative correlation.(4)The relationship between the expression of the CMTM3 gene and the MMP2 gene and the clinicopathological features showed that the expression of CMTM3 gene wasnot statistically different from the age of the patients with gastric cancer and lymph node metastasis(P > 0.05).while The expression of CMTM3 gene was significantly different from that of patients in terms of sex,TNM stage, depth of invasion and tumor differentiation(P<0.05).similarly,there was no statistical difference between the expression of MMP2 gene and the age,sex and depth of invasion of the patients with gastric cancer, but there was a statistical difference between the TNM staging, lymph node metastasis, and the degree of tumor differentiation.Conclusion:(1)CMTM3 can inhibit the occurrence and invasion of tumor, and it is a tumor suppressor gene. The MMP2 gene may be involved in the invasion and metastasis of gastric cancer. Both of them have a certain correlation in gastric cancer. They may become an indicator for clinical and prognosis of gastric cancer, and may become a new target for targeted therapy of gastric cancer.
