Primary tracheal tumors are rare in the clinic.Because of the early symptoms are not typical and the disease progresses slowly, they are often misdiagnosed. In later stages, severe dyspnea and orthopnea are typical symptoms.Tracheal tumors are surgically treated and non-surgically treated.Currently, surgical resection and tracheal reconstruction are the main methods for the treatment of tracheal tumors. The management of anesthesia for such surgeries is very complicated and tricky. The location of the tracheal tumor is different, and the way of anesthesia is also different. With the development of surgery and anesthesiology,in addition to traditional surgical methods, these surgeries can also be performed under thoracoscopic minimally invasive surgery. The latter has the advantages of less trauma, mild stress response, and rapid postoperative recovery. The future development trend,at the same time, also poses new challenges to the management of anesthesia.According to the different surgical methods, this article summarizes the current status and advances of anesthesia management in two surgical procedures.
