Objective:To evaluate the relationship between blood transfusion and the incidence of necrotizing enterocolitis in very-low-birth-weight infants. Methods:Several databases, such as EMBASE,PubMed and Cochrane Library databases, were retrieved to obtain relevant literature,The retrieval time period is from these databases to January 2018 in the study of blood transfusion and necrotizing enterocolitis,Summary and meta-analysis of the results. The ratio(OR)and 95% confidence interval(CI)of NEC after blood transfusion were calculated with RevMan 5.3 software, and sensitivity analysis and publication bias analysis were conducted.Results:13 articles are included, three of which were cohort studies, and ten of them were case control studies. After transfusions, the ratio of NEC was compared with OR=1.18,95% CI=0.66--2.11,P=0.58.Conclusion:Blood transfusion can not significantly alter the risk of necrotizing enterocolitis in low-and low-weight neonates. |
