We are experiencing the increased degree of social modernization and progressive aging of our population.Minimally invasive fixation is characterized by less-injury,few complications and faster recovery,which has become a hot topic in orthopaedics.The history of traumatic orthopedics in our country has experienced four periods.A better closed reduction is the premise and key to minimally invasive fracture treatment and the development of computer image navigation technology has further improved the accuracy and safety of orthopaedic surgeries.In the future,more orthopaedic surgery can be performed with limited incision,and minimally invasive surgery will be the ultimate goal of orthopaedic surgeons.
