Objective:To identify the change of LA function after radiofrequency catheter ablation and the influence of PVCs originating for that by comparing changes of indexes of left atrial function with before and after radiofrequency catheter ablation in patients with the different sources of frequent ventricular premature,so as to guide the clinical treatment of PVC.Method:The subjects of the study were a total of 123 hospitalized patients with PVCs observed on 24-hour Holter monitoring(>10000)and fitting line of radiofrequency ablation surgery at the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University between December 2014-September 2017.Among them 24 patients with PVCs originating in the free wall of lthe right ventricular outflow tract(age:43±18 years,10 males),36 in the septum of the right ventricular out flow tract(years:44±11,30males),36 in the above-aortic sinus(years:43±15,26males),27 in the below-aortic sinus(years:47±12,19males).The indices of left atrial structure and function were measured be echocardiography before and after radiofrequency ablation surgery at 1 day,2 weeks and 1 month.32 healthy adults without smoking and alcohol were selected as control group. Results:Compared with the control group,LAD increased significantly before operation(P<0.05),decreased gradually 2 weeks after operation, but did not reach the level of the control group. The S% of left atrium before operation were significantly lower than those in control group(P<0.05),and S%gradually improved at one month after operation(P<0.05),but did not reach the level of control group. There was no significant difference between the RVOT-FW and the control group(P>0.05).The other three groups were significantly lower than the control group, and gradually improved 2 weeksafter operation, but the difference was not significant(P>0.05).LVEF%decreased significantly before operation than that in control group(P<0.05),but there was no significant difference before LAEF% compared with control group(P<0.05).The LAEF% and LVEF% gradually improved 2 weeks after operation, but the difference was not significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.There was a significant increasing in the LAD of the patients with PVCs.After 2 weeks of the radiofrequency ablation, the LAD decreased significantly.Significant improvement was observed in the spetum, followed by the free wall, above and below of the aortic sinus.2.There was a significant decrease in left atrial strain in patients with PVCs and can be significantly improved after radiofrequency ablation.Significant improvement was observed in the septum of the right ventricular outflow tract, followed by free wall source, above and below of the aortic sinus and aortic sinus.3.PVCs can cause the left ventricular ejection dysfunction, and the left atrium and left ventricular ejection function in 2 weeks after radiofrequency ablation have a tendency to improve, but no statistical difference was achieved.
