Objective: To analysis the risk factors of postoperative fever in patients undergoing percutaneous nephrolithotomy, and explore the prevention measures so as to provide guidance for clinical prevention and treatment of the fever. Methods: The study was on a retrospective analysis.203 cases of patients with kidney stones who underwent percutaneous nephrolithotomy from Oct 2015 to Oct 2017 were retrospectively analyzed. Then the incidence of postoperative fever was analyzed. The Logistic regression analysis was performed for the risk factors.Using SPSS23.0 statistical software for statistical analysis.Results:(1)There were 54 among 203 cases(26.60%)had fever; There are 113 male patients and90 female patients; There were 167 cases of kidney stones, including 88 cases of left kidney stones and 79 cases of right kidney stones; There were 36 cases of ureteral calculi, including 17 cases of left ureteral calculi and 19 cases of right ureteral calculi. The diameter of the stone was 0.6~4.1cm,and the average was(1.853±0.703)cm.(2)Univariate logistic regression analysis showed that risk factors for postoperative fever were the sex,the location of stone, kidney speeper,WBC,the size of stone, duration of operation, intraoperative perfusion, the position of double J tube, antibiotic type, and extubation time(P<0.05);(3)The multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that five variables including the sex,the size of stone, duration of operation, intraoperative perfusion, and antibiotic type(P<0.05);(4)54 patients with fever after operation were performed bacterial culture for urine,a total of 33 strains were isolated, the main isolated pathogens was Escherichia coli; Conclusion: Fever rate following PCNL is high, duration of the operation and intraoperative perfusion shoule be reduced, antimicrobial agents should be sued rationally, which are the effective measures to prevent the postoperative fever in the patients undergoing the PCNL.
