ObjectiveThrough the collection of eosinophilic gastroenteritis(EG)cases, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, gastrointestinal endoscopy, imaging studies and other characteristics of a more comprehensive understanding of eosinophilic gastroenteritis.Method1.Methods: From 2011 to 2017,33 children were diagnosed with EG in the Shengjing Hospital of China Medical University, including 20 males(60.6%)and 13 females(39.4%).The age of onset from 10 month to 12 years old.2.Observation: The clinical manifestations and laboratory parameters of children were recorded, including: blood routine(leucocyte count, eosinophil count, hemoglobin,Serum indexes: C-reactive protein(CRP),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR),Ig E,serum allergen, stool routine.imaging studies: including abdominal three-dimensional ultrasound, abdominal CT,gastroscope, biopsy and bone wear.ResultThe main clinical manifestations were abdominal pain(75.7%,25/33),vomiting(30.3%,10/33)and diarrhea(21.2%,7/33).The other symptoms were blood in the stool(9.09%,3/33)Ascites(3.03%,1/33),edema(3.03%,1/33)and so on.Seven patients had decreased hemoglobin(21.2%,7/33),13 increased blood eosinophilia(39.4%,13/33),18 increased total Ig E(54.5%,18/33),23 patients food or respiratory specific Ig E positive(69.70%,23/33),stool blood test was positive in 7 cases(21.2%,7/33).28 cases of children underwent total abdominal CT examination, including pelvic fluid in 13 cases(46.43%),lymph node enlargement in 12 cases(42.86%),small intestinal wall thickening in 4 cases(14.29%),gastric wall thickening in 2 cases(7.14%),2 cases of colorectal wall thickening(7.14%),1 case of intraperitoneal effusion(3.57%)and 1 case of duodenal wall thickening(3.57%).33 cases underwent gastroscopy and 3 cases underwent simultaneous colonoscopy. The main tissues of endoscopy change is erythema exudation, mucosal congestion and edema,congestion-like granulomatous hyperplasia,hemorrhage,mucosa-like vacuolar degeneration and erosion,Mucosal pathological changes mainly manifested as mucosal inflammation, with a large number of eosinophilic infiltration(?20 / HPF),eosinophils mainly in the duodenum in 17 cases(51.5%),gastric antrum in 10 cases(30.3%),Stomach angle in 3 cases(9.1%).3 routine colonoscopy, tissue changes to congestion and edema, ulcers, erosion, vascular texture is unclear, the main lesion sites were the ileum and sigmoid colon.33 cases of children with diet avoidance, acid suppression, allergy, corticosteroids, leukotriene receptor antagonists and other normative treatment, clinical symptoms were significantly relieved, only 1 case of recurrence in 5 years 1.ConclusionChildren with EG is lack of specificity clinical manifestations, clinically elevated blood eosinophil count and Ig E levels,food-specific Ig E-positive can be used as supporting evidence, the diagnosis still requires mucosal pathology eosinophil infiltration ? 20 / HPF.Treatment, diet avoidance, acid suppression,anti-allergy,corticosteroids,leukotriene receptor antagonists and other conventional therapies can achieve satisfactory results.
